That's it the extra weight is handy for some things.but the speed and turning is compromised then.its a catch 22 really we can't have weight strength and speed all in 1.

A little off topic.i said this before on here. I was reading a spearfishing thread on a forum and a guy was talking about night time spear fishing in cornwall.and he could hear whales calling.obviously from miles out to sea now that would be some experience listening to that in the pitch black sea...

I'm not sure if they do in the care sector. But every job I've been on. on construction they take 1 and pay 1 Work a 12hr shift get paid 11.5hrs

Excately.people do knock H&S but by feck it's saved some lives over the years especially with the calibre of machine ops out there.some of them are a liability.. It's easier to stand on the tracks of a dozer and shout at the dumpers to feck off.crazy cnuts ?

I've seen some fecking beauty's out there in my time..1 lad in the opencast in a 40ton dumper reversed down the ramp into me ? lucky I had the ripper all the way up he hit that.how the feck can't he see a 50ton d9 in his mirrors or camera ? when he hit me I turned around and rammed his skip he got out.i didn't see you he said ?

Little steps at a time you will soon get it.at the beginning of the shift try and think and look where you will roughly be at the end of the shift etc.as in not getting excited to dig like feck and end up backing yourself into a corner etc.. Here's a good little vid for you listen to him at 2;00mins about pulling half a bucket through the pile and gauging the level off what he checked with the laser. It would obviously work well on a stockpile as long as the machine is level trim the 1st pass nice and level as you can and then use that as a gauge across the width of the stockpile.ins

You will soon pick it up.before you know it your hands will be pulling the levers without you even thinking about it.almost like being on autopilot.. Once you get to that stage the next step is putting the machine to work in an efficient way and setting yourself up to attack what ever task needs doing.. Everyday is a day of experience under the belt mate ?

I agree.but the last year people have been applying for the furlough payments and still working flat out..the tax man can be relentless in his pursuit if he smells blood ?
