That's about the time I was 12 or a little older maybe..very strong flavour from what I can remember mate..
  2. It's the council picking them up do you think..a trail cam would catch the culprit mate no doubt...
  3. That inbuilt instinct is quite an impressive trait..look at little song birds.they haven't been taught to make a nest.yet they do it generation after generation. It's weird how it's programmed into animals to perform such task's.. And yet it takes chimps 7 to 10yrs of watching an elder using hand tools like a rock to break open hard nuts. That isn't inbuilt into them..1 obviously worked it out though..
  4. Just to add.my gran had a house cat ginger bloody thing called "sandy" I would try and move it from the sofa when I was a kid..and it allways scratched my forearms nearly the entire length of my forearm..horrible thing it was.. It was great when it died I could sit on the sofa then..
  5. That's spot on mate..a leopard is a seriously powerfull animal..that can kill prey with a single prolonged bite..and even drag it up a tree.. It puzzles the mind how it could inflict such a tiny scratch to the cheek...
  6. You can't really call that an injury..it's simply a little scratch.. imagine a leopard striking out with it's claw..there would be a proper slash on the cheek.how deep I don't know.but I don't think it would be a little scratch like that lad has got..a house cat could scratch a person like that..
  7. There has been escaped big cat's confirmed in the uk and a few shot.. But the chance of a big cat escaping and then finding another escaped big cat has got to be 1 in a million chance surely.. Not a single person has been attacked by a big cat in the uk..if they did then there would be some serious damage to them I should think...
  8. Doesn't sound good mate..over to the left above the res there is some sheer face on that mountain...you sometime see gliders being towed infront of that mountain.where do they take off from.it must be above glynneath somewhere I imagine..
  9. Ah my mistake mate..be nice to see how she turns out..
  10. Cracking looking pup mate some size to him already.all the best with him ?
  11. Impressive bit of kit that.. A more relaxed way to fly here foot launch glider..
  12. Phil did you find the dog would look at you more for a command or direction than a dog with normal hearing..or change it's behavior in any way to try and compensate for the loss of hearing... Ive found my dogs on top of a burrow sense and feel a lot coming through there feet.i would imagine switching to using it's feet a lot more on a real gusty day instead of it's ears on a calm quiet day. How would you compare a dog waiting for a bolting rabbit with and without hearing..
  13. Sorry to hear that mate..

  16. He does ok to be honest mate..many a night I stay a few 100yds behind him and let him crack on lamping..it's the only way he will learn ?
  17. Up by the burger van.a good few like it up there mate..how did he fair..
  18. You can't knock him greb.hes committed to taking off..and did take off..
  19. He's thrown to me ?? He goes to sleep at a decent hour like me.the other 2 lads are like the wife they are like owls up untill God knows what hour.
  20. No mate it ain't..it's having the confidence to launch off the hill..that's the testing part ?
  21. Just spit it out mate..what you trying to say..that I'm not capable of owning and looking after a dog ?
  22. The science part is learning about the weather and thermals etc.the actual part of flying is very simple.you can even let go of both handles with no I'll effect on the wing.it will fly in a straight line with zero input from the pilot ? it's classed as a safe sport..
