Sounds like a valve seal but as it's still under warranty should'nt cost you but I agree it's still a ballache when it's away, my mate "goldenarms" was without his AAS400 for about x3 weeks when it went back to AA, bummer!!!

Cracking deal and a great piece of kit, my mate "goldenarms" has the same gun and swears by it but he's is in .22 and he has just had a 6 shot mag fitted and love's it. Good luck Coney.

I've got the MK 2 "shrouded" version and have'nt had a bit of bother with it since buying it in October last year had loads of good hunting trips out and many a full game bag, however I do know the MK 1 version was prone to leaking valve seals, iffy triggers and pellet jamming. I am sure this does not apply to every MK 1 but it was classed as a common fault on many models, this is the MK 2 version I am currently using:- As for the price I suppose it depends on condition, type of scopes/mounts, size of bottle & pressure it holds etc, Regards Coney.

It's whatever you are comfortable with mate, I've had them from 8-32x44 down to 6x42 and just recently gone from a 6-24x50 AOE to a 3.5-10x50 decided to down size for quick target acquision on my HW100. The Simmons I currently own are'nt even Mil-dot they are 30/30 reticule and work just fine. Good luck Coney.

Shame there are types like that out there not only do they give themselve's a bad name they tarnish the site they operate from and it's not always possible for the Mod's to get there in time before the damage is done, pity.......
