  1. I personally think all guns should be sold with a chrono certificate & the make of pellets that it was tested with ( including FAC rifles ) so you can see what the guns putting out and as long as you are the original owner and have'nt "tinkered" with it in any way this piece of paper if carried with you on your shoot may prove usefull if Dibble comes along??. Also it's fecking ridiculous that you should have to pay to have your gun "put up" to the legal limit after you have just lashed out ££££s on it???? Rant over.
  2. What's up mate do you not like it???
  3. Well spotted mate yes it's a 6-24x50 Mil Dot, Illuminated Reticule, I know a lot of people knock these scopes from JSRs as being shite but all I can say is it's never missed a beat and dropped loads of quarry since I've had it. Cheers Coney.
  4. anyone got or seen one professionally dipped in realtree how does it feel local gun shop ad one but never thought to av an hold of it looked well though Thought you might like to see a pic of my Steyr LG100 and Leupold set up, with full Hydrographics dip. Best job I've seen, top notch.
  5. The "magic mint lollipop" looks like a fecking bar of carbolic soap.
  6. If it is against the law it's a new one on me ( not saying it is'nt just never herd of one ) usally do mine in the field and what does'nt go in my bag gets stashed under a hedge out of sight.
  7. Some real useful stuff there Grim someone on here is bound to benifit from it, nice one .
  8. On my fourth PCP now and I cannot for the life of me see me going back to a springer however I think most people "cut their teeth" under a springer and I agree with Chris about them teaching you to shoot. Additionally I know lads who won't entertain a PCP and stick to springers and who can shoot better than most, so me thinks it's down to that old saying "personal preferance". PCP or springer I don't think it matters as you get equal amounts of pleasure from whatever you shoot, at the end of the day it's about getting out for a good mooch and hopefully coming home with something for the pot...

    Luck

Not sure if this is 100% right or not but here goes, when a single magpie is spotted to avoid bad luck you are supposed "good day captain" and then look at your watch and quote the time?????
  10. The only good one is a dead one!!!!
  11. HEY CONEY,I,VE GOT A SIS,FANCY SWAPPING YOUR HW100 FOR HER RIGHT ARM?I'LL GET U BOTH AT A PUSH BUT THE SCOPE WOULD HAVE TO BE INCLUDED.... Ha ha ha..... nice one mate

  15. Interesting to see how they make out.
  16. Logun S16s....Despite all the bad press regarding the earlier models ( leaking, seals, jamming etc ) I tried one of these out and decided to buy one and I can tell you I have'nt had one bit of bother with it and it's had some pellets through it and many a full game bag when I've come home. There seems to still be a lot of stigma attatched to these rifles and many people voice opinions on these rifles without actually owning/shooting one, all I can say is get hold of the mark II version ( shrouded ) and give it a try and see what you think, Good points = shot capacity, won't rust if you get it
  17. Here's my two had some work done to the HW100 since this picture was taken, Regards Coney.
  18. Bisley Air Magnums are a good hard hitting pellet for rats even more deadly if you can get under 20 yards for a shot.
  19. I own both types of rifle traditional and milatry and I can honestly say when I've been out with the milatry styled rifle (Logun S16s) I've had some strange looks from passers by when they have seen it slung across my shoulder. Some of our shooting permission boarders a public footpath which is used by walkers and sometimes we pass them on our land on the way to a shoot and in the past I have been stopped by people who are curious what type of gun it is and when they are told "It's a air rifle" most are suprised so I can see the reasons behind this post. As for the question "what drew me towar
