"Twin sticks" sharpening steels do the job for me, about £9 quid and the last pair I bought are still going strong after x3 years, but I've only got x1 knife I use them on when I'm out.

Any time I get out is a good time if I don't get a thing it's cool as long as I get out with the gun I'm not bothered if I come home with a empty bag that's cool also, as long as I'm out I'm happy. Regards Coney.
