Stubby just an observation mate and i don't want to upset anyone but if you made a proper hole in that nest box and maybe took the lid off they might stay in there. If it was so hot why would they all crowd into one bed, maybe not suitable beds? That hob would have a job getting into a 2 1/2" hole never being dragged in, the female looks an average size 7" around her rib cage which would have made her tummy 10 to 11" before she had her kits
As i said just an observation.
Friedrice..you are entitled to your opinion..but if you think that mate you are sadly mistaken...I...and I know of several others who have bought plenty of ferret kits from all sorts of different lines over the years which turned out to be pure outright shite...and I am telling you now and I am 100% certain that working strains of ferret are better than show strains..
If you take your sport seriously...and I say this to Steffan to...and if you want to do well at it..get working lines...and even working lines will occasionally breed some not so good offspring..but you are significantly incr

You don't know much about GOOD working ferrets do you mate. There is a little saying that go's.
You can remain silent and have people think you are a c**t
or you can open your mouth and remove ALL doubt.
Hi Steffan...if they are for work then perhaps they are best left where they are mate...sometimes free gifts turn out to be quite expensive..if having kept them for a while to find out they are shite..
There will be lots of kits available from good working stock soon..may or may not be free but they will certainly be nominally priced..personally..I would wait until the right stuff becomes available..good luck
Thats good advice mate .If you have them and their sh**e Your stuck with them .There will be lots free soon
according to stubby you don't have to be a donator to sell stuff on thl .He gave someone else good advice on LIVING OF THE LAND & GAME COOKING look at chicken hut it's in black& white
Not had that problem mate as i would not take anythings nuts away. Now he has lost his nuts he don't know what he is, at the moment he is playing the female and trying to mother your jill.
As for losing size all ferrets are starting to malt right now and that makes them look small.Only my opinion mate but hope it helps.
Its not uncommon for a maiden ferret to pannic, just tell her how good she is hearing your voice may reasure her, christ its gotta be a big traumatic experience giving birth on your own , it may just work
What a load of b*****ks leave her alone.
leave her alone and let her get on with it and keep your hands out check her in the morning .If you lose them there's nothing you can do .Don't keep poking about.
Look mate, there was nothing wrong with her right through the whole pregnancy, birth and theres nothing wrong with her now. So why the hell would i take her to the vets if there was nothing wrong with her?
What are you on about mate...you know NOW there is nothing wrong with her..at least you HOPE there is nothing wrong with her...but you would'nt have posted in the first place if you thought she was ok..thats the point..and...you aint necessarily out of the woods yet...
Asking advice on here is one thing..and I am sure there are plenty who can help sort a few things out..but in reg
that may be correct as the hobs were in season well before the jills but they still look to be in season so they most likely are! thankyou for that though i hadnt thought of that!
The males have done the job now jills dont want to know.
read my first post dumbass......its the hobs that arn't interested it makes no difference if the jills want it or not lmao they have no choice in the matter
you have a lot to learn and you aint going to learn it talking to people like that mate.Put a fresh jill in their and see who's in the mood prat.If the jills have been mated end o

Don't know about more than one jill mate but if your due to have 40+ young you can afford a few losses. :icon_eek:
I did at one time keep my ferrets in a smiler set up(a converted aviary)these where a few of my problems.
They became so fit and fast i couldn't catch them when they came out the bury I'd be picking my nets up and they would be 2 bury's ahead.
They were so fast under ground the rabbits didn't get a chance to bolt,if i could have taught them to run the lamp i wouldn't have needed a lurcher.
However it dose have a + side to it.if you are into ferret racing you've got your v
Keep up the good work mate, sorry to hear about your losses. There are definitely two types of ferret now work (Pet) and SHOW shite. To tell you the truth I wouldn't know the difference between a BIW and a silver all polecats or albinos to me. My eyes aint what they used to be ha ha All the very best mate and happy ferreting P1
