  1. oliver is a Black Eyed White mate and is a very nice ferret as are all the rest. In my opinion the only thing likely to have an adverse effect on the hunting ability of ferrets is show people. It was a bit of fun to show ferrets at Lurcher shows but now to my mind it has got out hand.Look what they have done to dogs.

  5. either way, Im sure it would be Illegal, feeding "live" what we do in the privacy of our own lives, and what we openly admit to on an open forum, should in my eye's be just that, kept private If we agree with this video clip, we may as well say, ok everyone, put your clips up of all banned activities, if anything its not showing the hunting forum in a good light, maybe ok on your site fish, but I'd say not here, maybe the other mod's/admin can leave there comments :clapper:
  6. Im telling you its alive mate, listen carefully and it also opens its wings, I wouldnt have put the video on here if the crow was was dead but talking about that, i think its a rook not a crow? Luke. ok mate ill take ur word for it!! at the end of the day, to me, its just a ferret eating a crow sorry if i offend but its nothing shocking in my book. No different than feeding a rat to a snake or a ferret down a rabbit hole and coming across a nest of babies...In my opinion this is cruelty of the highest order the bird was wounded and should have been dispatched nothing sh

  9. SMOGGY You can't threaten people with firearms (don't go back there) no matter how much fecking land you own .I would have called the police there and then (mobile every body's got one)and said I was being threatened by someone with a shotgun see what would have happened then. I don't smoke but i do get careless with my fag ends, bast**ds piss me off.

  12. Just wondering if anyone else uses sheep dip on their animals. I have been using it for years 1 egg cup full to 1/2 bath of watter once a year. When i mix it up neighbours and friends bring their dogs round. I also dip my ferrets and keep a spray bottle full to spray on cuts and sores.Wonderful stuff, comments welcome

    Guard Dog

What is the point of all this .You get your guard dog think the world of it as you naturally would. Some lowlife comes to rob you or worse ,the dog bites,The "law" Will put your dog to sleep. You'd be better of with 3 or 4 dogs that make one hell of a racket that nearly bite but not quite and they don't have to be big.I'd hate to lose a dog for biting scum ...just my thoughts.

  15. Mate if you don't want to breed for what ever reason DON'T. And don't let people frighten you into doing it. My mate had a jill for 10 years and didn't breed it ever, it died of old age.I don't breed from mine every year no probs. You must keep them very clean, there will be so many baby ferrets this year that people won't be able to give em away.Good luck
