We went back to the same farm this morning to try and mop up the remaining rats that weren't caught last week. We had a very willing farm hand this morning who helped immensely, he was dying to see a bit of action like last weeks. Unfortunately for him, especially after his cooperation there were not so many to be had. Still, we had a bit of enjoyable craic and caught a few. some more photos of our morning, last week was red hot sunshine, today we had snow... the youngest and most enthusiastic member of our team lifting the remaining bales

She was bred by a friend, dam is 13", sire 12 1/2". Who knows how big she'll get, but I doubt she'll grow huge, she's quite small now.

I'll take that as a compliment true I'd say its some scald cleaning chicken shit off the paving every day though. Nice pup Keeps A pressure washer does the trick, they're only very small so don't make too much mess..

I keep a beautiful Betta in the 46L Fluval Edge which I got for Christmas, along with a few tetras and some endlers guppies. He seems pretty happy in there, but I dont fill the water right to the top to allow him to breath through the surface (which Bettas need to do). I added a heater to the Edge, as this isn't included in the set up. As said previously they like blood worms and also like live food like daphnia & brine shrimps. http://www.petsathome.com/shop/fluval-edge-aquarium-46l-in-gloss-black-(available-in-store-only)-104507

When my kids were young they loved camping here, there are also caravans but we always camped in a tent. They still talk about the good times they had there. Lots to do, swimming pool on site, bar & cafe, games room, horse-riding, and sea fishing off the shore/rocks. Plenty to do/see roundabout too. http://www.gillespie-leisure.co.uk/content/view/31/128/

Posted this morning "Bishop Auckland Neighbourhood Police Team: We are investigating after three lurcher dogs were stolen from an allotment next to Bishop Auckland Rugby Club. The animals, two adults and a puppy, all male, were taken between 4pm on Monday, November 26 and 11am the following day. PC Sarah Rodgers said a number of other reports about dogs being stolen from allotments and gardens in Bishop Auckland have been received, and that a dark-coloured Subaru Forester estate car had been spotted close to where some of the thefts had occurred. She added: "I would urge dog owners to be

They aren't often bad enough to need much attention, a bit of hydrogen peroxide cleans up the nasty ones.

With the school holidays on us, in what is known up here as tattie picking week, we had a short trip out with the dogs, a couple of mates and their kids, hoping to get a few rats and keep the kids occupied at the start of their hols. Both the young lads got stuck in, with smokers and sticks. There aren't huge numbers of rats at this place any more, as it now has good pest control in place so the dogs had to work very hard for the rats that they got. A good morning was had by all, and although there were only a few rats to be had, they were quite a size. Best mark and catch of the mor

Will keep a look out for him. Ironic that my daughter found a small border x terrier wandering around in West Auckland yesterday and can't find its owner! I've been searching dog lost pages, so if I see anything matching his description will let you know.
