    sounds like the mans got all the gear and no idea people have said it will be a good ferreting dog why not just get a whippet and not breed 2 dogs the will fill the pdsa kennels up because no one in the right miknd would want one but each to their own lol

    my son took my dog billy onto a local estate with some lads with saluki crosses , a hare got up all the dogs set off , the couple of saluki crosses came back after a while but not billy so they sparked up their cigs and sat down waiting , billy goes flying past still after the hare into the distance. when they had finished the fags here comes billy carrying the hare back. he is a good dog just does your head in when lamping pulling up short and opening up. i am doing a lot more ferreting now and he is getting the idea of getting stuck into hedges . was great ferreting yesterday , ran smack in

    ive seen dogs were people have give over the odds for them and they dont seem any better or worse than any dog you get for nowt not saying this is the case for hankocks dogs just from my experence what you get out of your dog all depensd on what your willing to put in to it training wise

    no mate we did not go out moon light ferreting it was day time i was just saying to him i dont go ferreting when the moon is not out becouse i go lamping with the lurcher all night do aney one no a good way to get thorns out off my hands pull them out

    is it just me or has any one else noticed the lack of rabbits now cum to think of it pretty much most quarry seems to be getting verry hard to find compeared to afew years ago gettin hardto have a half decent night out now whats goin on

    get some one to take anoter lamp with a filter on and use it to spot the quarry and then [bANNED TEXT] the course starts use the unfilterd lamp to lamp it work well for me hope this helps jedandlevo

    i bought a beddy grey a while ago but it has still got its back dew claws but they are lust floppy and dont seem to be attached to any thing i was wondering if there was any way of getting them took of. the nail is still growing aswell regards jedandlevo

    i put a post up about this very subject the other week and people just said skin and gut them and freze them to kill any worms/bugs that the rabbit/hare mighyt be carrying then simply defrost and feed keeping the worming up to date hope this helps mate
