    My misses lets me do pretty much as i want,i've chooks,ferret court and dove shed in the garden and can go out with the dogs whenever i can(as long as she ain't using the van).We should be moving soonish and has said as many dogs as you want there as long as they live outside(we have 5 inside with us),bloody good un i've got and she can cook and clean and is a saucy little thing as well, :friends: .

    I had to get a transit mini bus with the back few seats took out(7 seater) so all the dogs and kids can fit in(5 dogs ,4 kids),estate car wasn't big enough and not enough seats.

    I lived as a hippy traveller(for want of a better word)for the best part of 20 years and met hundreds of gypies,not one was 100% straight and yet to meet one that is,i believe wilf and have seen with my own eyes dogs being set on puppies,pit bull on a husky and yes they did get a smack in the mouth for it.Can you truthfully say mate you know of a 100% straight gypsy,never stole,never delt in stolen stuff,never maced anyone one?,and never left rubbish behind after parking up somewhere?.Didn't think so and yes i have gypsy mates,so don't go on bud we all have our faults but don't go on about how

    Ooty's lurchers do,the old girl he has has and still would pull a man down on command and she's 10 years old,her daughter is learning and god help any bugger that tried to nick em.The old one don't bark just sneeks in and your f**ked,the younger one does bark(goes quit mental when in the motor really)something he has bred to to keep in his strain.One of the founding dogs of his strain once went through a van windscreen at somone that was winding him up from outside the van,know a few lads with them that gaurd well and if no one belives me sneek in his house lol.

    Can the straw and hay be moved out so some dogs could have a go?,if so i'm not to far from you and don't mind moving a few bails for a bit of sport with my dogs.If not a few live catch traps or fenns in a tunnel should be safe enough for the dogs and kids,is there a good few there as if any of the above are no good then i would bring my misses lad for a pop at them with the pellet flinger.

    There is nothing you could fault on them,tight feet,bone like girders,chest like a tank(but not over wide)head and jaw to be seen,fantastic coat that would please both smooth and rough coat camps,drive,protective and very clever.Don't recon there's many thefts of these dogs at all either,god i'm talking myself into having one i'll shut up now lol.

    After seeing the posts from lads who want a day out ferreting but are a long way from me in Norfolk,i will put up the offer for a day or two out on some of my permission.So if there's anyone who wants a go then here's your chance,i have a few different locations that include hedges,open warrens and a few over grown warrens that will test us.You may bring a dog that is broken to ferret,if your dog kills my ferret it will share it's hole and that is a promise,a bit strong but you have been warned(my ferrets are as important to me as my dogs).Don't mind who comes as long as they don't mug me off

    Have to get it where i can Smashy,my lurchers broke his toe and his nail sticks so far out he'll rip it off if i run him.Up to the terriers and ferrets for my sport this year and ooty for the lamping.

    I caught 3 rats in the traps in the garden last night mate and the dogs helped me empty them this morning,the acd pushed molly out the way and nailed the biggest for herself.1/2 8 this morning with the dogs going mad,the rats screaming,me trying to be cool so the neighbours wouldn't see what a sight and i bet the whole road heard lol.Will get some pics up of the dogs when the clever one puts them on photobucket.

    Ate one myself the other week and found it very nice,don't know of any meat thats dodgy for ferrets to eat.Saying that i wouldn't feed them on a cat,they can get all cat alements so wouldn't take the risk.

    Have fed mine everything from mice to deer and day old chicks to pheasants,chuck it in and they will eat what bits they want and i remove what they don't eat.Mine are having rat today from my live catch traps,have fed them rats before and will carry on doing so but some will say it's a big no no.

    I have John and what a do it can turn into,i just tend to take my terriers these days though do live hand catch sometimes(with gloves on though).Got to keep yourself on the ball,although the last one got me in the side of the thumb.Still the terrier pups had fun playing with it and it helped with thier education.
