    I've a 6x4 shed built into my aviary but to be honest it's a bit of a waste of a shed just for the birds to roost in,i wish i had built off it and maybe wired it in half so i could use one half and the birds have the other half and use pop holes to get in or out.A 6x4 shed with a aviary built off it can hold a few pairs of different sorts i'd say with not to much bother and you'd still have a bit of space in there for the youngsters.

    Double breeders and flights for the youngsters,then extra flights or cages for if some don't get on.It's a hobby that grows and takes over space very quickly as my misses will tell you . It depends on what you want really atubby,a large(i don't do small cages personaly) cage will keep a couple of mules in ok but canaries,finches etc will want more space as soon there'll all be breeding or wanting to and some pairs can produce over a dozen youngsters a year hence the more space bit,have you any idea on what you want and there's plenty of experiance on here to help you. .

    Was on my way to a bird sale today and on a duel carrage way i spotted a car facing the wrong way down a verge with a woman and 3 kids stood next to it,it looked like they had just crashed so i stopped as quick as i could and ran back up the road to check they were all ok.While i was running up the road (aprox 200 yrds)loads of cars drove past and only one other stopped to offer help,now the woman and kids were all ok although shook up and one child was crying but all ok.We managed to get her car out the ditch and back onto the road facing the right way and got her on her journey home.Made me

    I know you know feck all mate,long grass???.The only grass we ran them on pre ban was water meadows and they have had cattle on them all summer so where is there long grass,half flooded fields with huge deep puddles and deep watered reed lined ditches but no long grass jim so try not to listen to your ill informed tell tale he makes you look stupid .Dry ground,any ground,winter wheat,winter kale or dry water meadows there easy and even my misses whippet x could and did take them regular,but i even gave that up because it was piss poor sport.But saying all that who on here didn't know game o

    Hounds should be held back and if there creeping forward take them further away,poor hound handling and why were guns there anyway if the hounds were that close they wouldn't have got a shot off anyway.Likes been said just poor hunting from every one imo,guns should have said move them,they had no clear shot and they didn't.the hound folk should have had them further away and the terrier man should have told them as well to feck off further back and the terrier payed the price for it,bad old do for sure.

    Many thanks Jasper and the more folks hear about her the better the chances of her coming home,we took the day off work to rewalk the whole shoot,checked a few holes,railway line,every ditch and hedge but still no sign of her.Posters up in vets,etc and just hope she comes to light soon as the old boy has lost a stone in weight through worry already.
