i am looking for a whippit or a small whippit grey hound bitch it needs to be able to work well on the lamp taking rabbits only....i will give top money for the right dog..i would like to see it work before i buy...(which is proving alot harder to find than i thought)...spectacular money given for spectacular dog...permanant home waiting.....100 mile radius of shropshire....pm's only please..... cheers woz.........

i havnt got a whippit mate...but the one you posted in the running dog section is a fine looking dog...only a fool would disagree.it is gorgious mate....iv been offered a whippit/grey which pending seeing it run i'll probably have...my dads got a westie called hamish and it looks just like yours...there great dogs mate....

i use it on 22 mag at the most..cant use it any higher its crap even in the day......i have just spoke to the mtc people at 6.45pm on a friday.they were unbelievibly helpful to the point im embarrassed to say the scope was crap.(which it is). it could be a bad scope and they will be happy to sort it out.im fast enough to say that the scope i have isnt good but there customer service is brilliant best iv found in any business bar none.....

im a steel fabricator....specialise in equine...horseboxes/stable blocks etc...also own a landrover gaurage but it aint doing very well with the price of fuel and unfair taxes..............thanks new labour

does/has anyone used tread mills to keep there dogs fit??? if so how long and how fast do you run them????

i use a lite force 170 and the beam is great.the rest of it is junk.....i bought two 7.2 amp 12 volt batterys off flea bay.got a thick webbing belt and gaffer taped the batterys to it.soldered a cable between the two batterys then a fuse to a guitar female jack plug.sounds a right bodge but it works brilliantly and looks fine...battery belt pack came to £18.50 all together.....i used a female jack plug because i use a cluson clubman 2 lamp as well..if you want a hardwaring good quality lamp buy a cluson cb2.the beam is quite adequate.it has a gate light facility iv used one for years and year

I know of a litter of Whippet/Greyhounds they will be very fast out of a non-ped racing camp in the south east, I am having one. Ready in three weeks pm me if interested. Also how steady is your dog will it suffer loud noises, strangers etc and have you got some pics. where are you? ............................. the collie wont have anything to do with strangers at all..very stand offish...he dosnt mind load noises at all,i have an fg petrol monster truck will do 45mph on our field and he chases that and grabs and holds the tyres til i get to him.its a load as a moto x bike.

iv just measured the collie and he is 21 inches to the shoulder.i really want to use a whippit for this cross.......where do i get a good working whippit from???........

with all the books iv read i am absolutly sure this collie is made from the right stuff to turn out some good lurchers..he isnt very big though..think i will need plenty of paving slabs and a miricle to get him high enough to bread with a grey hound....

iv got a border collie dog...he's very fine boned,stamina like iv never seen and very obediant.is born and raised on a farm.he dosnt show any of the maddnes that you usally see with this breed.and a keen ratter..i want to put him over a whippit to produce a rabbiting dog mainly for lamping...what do youy think????

one of my friends has had it done think it was £1400...said it was very painful for a day or two but he is very happy now and says he's glad he went through the pain..sorry its not a first hand story but the blokes dead straight and we spoke in length about it...

WHEN I BOUGHT MY CZ 452 I CHOOSE AN MTC VIPER SCOPE.4/12 /44 AND IV GOT TO SAY ITS BRILLIANT.ONE OF THE BEST ALL ROUND SCOPES IV USED FOR THE MONEY...I BOUGHT A CZ 17HMR AND BECAUSE I WAS SO HAPPY WITH MY MTC I THOUGHT ID GO FOR THE BIGGER 8/32 /56 SCOPE WELL IV FITTED IT AND ITS THE WORST SCOPE IV EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF USING....THE CROSS HAIR IS FUZZY ANYTHING OVER 22 MAG.IT ISNT CRISP AND THE LIGHT GATHERING IS RUBBISH.... IM VERY DISAPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST..GOIN TO EMAIL THE IMPORTER AND SEE IF I CAN GET IT CHANGED..HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD ANY EXPERIANCE WITH????
