you will probably need atleast 60 acres and good reason to have each rifle...22lr is a good bunny bashing rifle out to 70 yards...(sure people shoot alot further with them) 22 250 dont quite understand why you would want one on a first grant?? they normally put a condition on your liecence that you are with someone with expiereance with a centre fire rifle..if i were you id have a 223 for fox control..iv had one for years and it drops fox very well out to a good range....22.250 isnt a brilliant round..(sure im going to get stick for this comment)

get some cat food or sardenes mix it with milk into a thick liquid this way the rats cant grab a chunk and run off with it....sit out of the way..bedroom window may be?? and wait..you may have to feed them for a week or so start with it very close to the decking and move the food out a few inches a day untill you can get a clear shot..then have fun......buy the way...many people on hear have diferant interests and the twenty people that viewed your post may have known sod all about shooting rats..yes you will probably get very quick answers from bbs..but generaly from kids that dont shoot or m

SURELY YOU BREED A DOG FOR A REASON..IE COLLIE/GREY FOR BRAINS........BULL/GREY FOR AGGRESSION AND GUTS AS FAR AS I SEE IT 20 YEARS AGO WHEN THEY WERE BEING PLAYED WITH, THEY WERE BREAD FOR TAKING DEER WHERE YOU NEEDED A HARD DOG.PIT BULL TERRIERS ARE KNOWN TO GO THAT LITTLE BIT FURTHER.....

i use two very heavy steel bars driven into the ground as far away as possible. wire rope between them.then a heavy d shackle to a chain then a swivel i make myself..my dog wears a d shackle out roughly every month....i would never just chain a dog if you use a wire rope it takes the shock out of the chain...the only problem iv found is my dog looks like he's pulling on the chain and if someone gets to close he'll lerch forward another three feet.its bit a few people like that..

Good luck with her Woz ,I can`t find any record of the bitch from the earmark you have given is that the full tattoo and in which ear is it, UK are only tattoo`d in one ear Irish dogs are done in both . she only has one tattoo in her right ear..and it reads as said..i havnt a clue on her racing name or even if she had one...she's a two year old bitch..very strong looking dog and she came from sheffield apparantly..they said she was to big to race??????? 27/28 tts...she isnt a fighter because she is penned up with another dog and she is fine..all a bit of a mystery really...not mega imp

MANY THANKS FOR THE REPLIES TO MY POSTING. .I HAVE BOUGHT A DOG THIS EVENING..HAD A 260 MILE ROUND TRIP AND THE BITCH IS NOW SAFELY HOME AND SETTLING INTO HER NEW SURROUNDINGS.THE DOG WAS EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED.AND THE LAD WAS A TRUE GENT, I WOULD LIKE TO SAY...THAT THERE IS A MESSER ON HEAR THAT WASTED MY TIME..I DONT NEED TO NAME NAMES YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE THANKS AGAIN PEOPLE.......WOZ -
please dont think im a fat lazy owner he goes lamping at least once a week and the mrs runs 3 or 4 miles with him 3 times a week..was interested if anyone used tread mills....thanks for replies people

hi, well after listening to alot of opinions i decided to take the hard route.....iv got a two year old bitch called ireene..number lu09..i cant find any infomation on her at all though she's black...she has started to work the lamp but im sure theres goin to be alot of hard work to come...any ideas about the history of this dog??? cheers woz

mtc optics....without any doubt......go to there web site and ring them direct though...will advise which is the best scope to go for...i use mtc on most of my rifles..i got a schmit on my 223 and apart from price there isnt much differance in the optics... http://www.mtcoptics.co.uk/

congratulations...i would of done the same....i took my lurcher out the other night to a farm iv never seen foxes on..lamped plenty of rabbits then saw a fox at 50/60 yards..no rifle... ...gutted.. ..had to walk away and save it for another night.......ps bet you woke the dead with a 222 and no moderator....... -
