i bought 3 jills earlier this week.2 of em from the same pen and 1 that was younger and from another pen,they are bickering a little had all 3 out working this morning and they worked ok.they dont nip..will sell you the younger jill if you want her..im in shropshire

thats a real shame.....weve got well over 3000 acres of permission with only 250 acres with sheep...john who i do all of my hunting with is after a dog.it needs to come back to the lamp...catch rabbits and not attack my lercher....we both look after all of our animals properly...if you want to rehome him im sure he will take him on..he owns a farm.dont think he will pay £150.....

iv always used 22 for vermin control,both fac and 12 ftp...now im using a daystate huntsman in 177 for rats at a range of 25 yards and im impressed with it.22 definatly has a little more kinetic energy.think that £1000 for any air rifle is to much money.you can pick up a daystate huntsman for under £200 and they are brilliant.the s410...logan s16...are also reasonable rifles.

hi.the whippit pup looks great!!! just bad timing.iv got to buy a larger house so im not going to get another dog for a month or two.i could keep another dog up at the farm but i like my dogs close so i can spend time with them.as soon as i get moved i'll build some decent dog runs and get one then...cheers for all the sound advice on this thread will be going for small bitch.

well chaps.sinse i was given my free lurcher a fortnight ago iv been giving him 3 or 4 miles road walking a day to get his feet hardened up and to get him used to me.i decided that tonight was the night to try him out.he had 7 runs on rabbits and did ok, worked the lamp well.came back to me without any trouble.was a little disheartened when he didnt get the first 6. but he hasnt done anything for a few months so he is unfit!!! was on way back to the landy and gave him one last run.he seemed to find another gear a nailed it.worked it back off the hedge perfectly and struck the rabbit hard.iv g

sound that isnt so bad then.wasnt sure if they were asking to much money for em.wont be ready for another dog for a month or two.in middle of moving house..

is there anyone on hear that has bedligton whippits ..theres someone selling whippits in the next town to me but the add dosnt mention working parents and they want £350 for the pups.iv seen little dogs work tight fields and they go dead well

not that fussed about hares really just enjoy rabbiting.i do alot with the rifles but we have loads of ground were it isnt safe to shoot .and i miss seeing a running dog work... i have a suluki/deerhound/g/hound that jason off hear kindly gave me.

hello people..what x or straight whippit do you think is best for small fields?? weve got about 120 acres of grass land which is broken up in 6 or 7 acre fields with hedges.old fashioned ground i suppose.got no interest in running foxes as i have a 223 centre fire and they struggle to out run that .iv got a dog to do the bigger ground which i will post some pics of as soon as i get pics sorted..........hope everyone has had a great xmas

iv got a dog hear....collie suluki g/hound....very well trained.....will only take rabbits.....day or night....whats the point in trying for somthing you aint gunna get....why not breed some exellent rabbiting dogs.....if ya bitch wont take fox's.......merry xmas

unbelevable....... who the bloody hell fights running dogs...terrible that the poor dog has been destroyed.....all mine are micro chipped so theres a better chance of them coming home if they get lost.
