hello folks, i replied to a post as regards a free dog..i was dubious to say the least....spoke on the phone and jason assured me the dog was 100% and he seemed a genuine bloke.i went over early this evening and sure enough he definitly new his stuff.the dog looked good.i definatly didnt want a dog with issues.so when i explained this he said if i wanted to see the dog run we could go straight away.we arrived at the ground he let it out of my van and it stuck by his side like glue.he scanned the field and saw a rabbit the dog didnt move till he told it too and sure enough the dog runs we

i had high power air rifle on my ticket i used to run my rifles on helium with stunning results.(it knackers your seals after a few thousand shots).i spent big money on air rifles and have had some nice kit....iv got 22lr....17hmr and 223 as well and the only use for an air rifle these days is shooting rats at 25 yards max.iv gone back to an 1989 177 daystate huntsman with 26foot pound.its great.laser accurate anyone can tune em and if it gets dropped scratched or used as a rat club it dont matter.iv got a 22 air rifle called an airtech ms7 hand made by a bloke in telford shropshire.its the be

hello all, for the last ten years or so i havnt bothered with lamping dogs just had my rifles...now after reading the many posts im getting the erge to get another running dog...i would like a lamping dog to take rabbits...not to worried about running foxes.i am totally out of touch as to what to get and who to speak too?? i had my last bitch for years and years and really she showed me the ropes.even when she was anciant. stick thin and had to be lifted over fences she would still get 4 or 5 in a night.so what im saying is.....what breed....how old ie do i buy a pup and bring it on myself...o

hi iv been running a 22lr synthetic stock for a couple of years now.have always done fine with it.i was given a brooks trigger kit last week.fitted the weekest spring and when you bounced the butt of the stock off the floor it fired.iv put the next weekest spring in and its safe now.trigger feels better but there is a little creep.but i love my cz's and wouldnt have anything else........

Main Man, If it were me mate I would go for the Sako or Tikka as already said. Me personally, I shoot a Remington in .243 and get sub MOA so that will do me! What you also need to look at IMO is the scope that you ar gonna put on this .222. A man once said to me 'spend good money on ya rifle and better money on ya scope', I think he speaks a bit of truth in that!! What ever you choose regarding the rifle,....enjoy it!! Regards,Sprags!! cz make brilliant rifles.wouldnt ever buy a s/h rifle unless you know the history in great detail...you buy s/h and it'll take ages

i used to put a quilt in the boot of the car.sneek em in while the mrs was having a coffee and suffer the agro for a few dayz.did this with 4 lerchers and a pit bull over a few years..we are now split up but we still laugh about it when i see her and its one of the storys shes told her new fella.....

hi, we have been using a rest that fits into the window recess and leans on the door with rubber pads.....they are adjustable for height.once youve used one its hard to shoot out of a vehicle withiout them.i could also make them for other vehicles.they are well made and will last a life time. i use pipe insulation and paint the steel work matt black.i havnt powder coated any yet because i wanted to keep the cost down. iv been asked by a few shooting suppliers to manufacture some but i dont want to be fabricating them day in day out.iv taken a pic of the original one thats a couple of years o

did the first fox at 160 yards with 223 put the rifle away and saw the next one five mins later at 50 yards.....have sold the ruger because i was sick of it jamming.....
-
i use 223 and my mate uses 222 we regularly hit out to 250 yards.iv seen some staggeringly long shots with 243.....think the 22.250 is a good round but they hammer barrels and you get alot of throat damage.i wanted a gun to last 25 years because im tight....
