    September not ideal weather wise, I live near C2C Route in Cumbria and often see Walkers getting a soaking, it can be a very wet month in the Lakes.

    Last year all my fifes eggs were clear in April, this year I have held them back, just moved the cocks into the next cages, going to wait until May. Good luck mate.

    Im a fairly newbie this is just my 3rd breeding season, I breed canaries and use nest pans in the breeder cage, the birds are in the aviary for winter but come in to breed, they dont seem to be bothered by my presence and will let me clean or change the pans if need be.
