    Never known a year with so many deer about tbh .My fault but there tis . Managed a few yesterday including one riddled with tb that the farmers going to incinerate .

    Out last night on my last look and check round for fox before they cub down proper.From Now on it will be call-outs only and then deal with any cubs . Thermal revealed a fox checking out the bottom of a shed so playing the wind I wandered closer .Night was breezy but light with the moon covered by cloud . Didnt get too far when it changed tack and headed straight for me ,well to another shed really but I was in its path . On stick ,switch the gear on and ……..what a tiny specimen thought I . Post mortem revealed a tiny vixen with no tail .Looked a bit mangey too .

    As much as it pains me say it mate ,that’s a good relevant post . Mate of mine just got himself in a bit of bother because his boy asked a teacher why another lad in his class has two dads ffs .Mate went up the school and might of kicked off a bit because his child was told not to be so silly . Police now involved for some reason I’ve yet to be told . When the f**k did we allow our voice to be stamped on .The enemy shouts whilst we are silenced . So f****n glad my lad can see the wood from the trees and his girlfriend too .My sisters lads however …..less said the better .

    When I worked for a contractor years ago in the 90s I was tasked with digging a ditch around a field that the pikeys had got into .They’d been served with a notice to vacate and a few caravans remained .I was in a jcb 360 so not the fastest machine but it was my intention to dig fast enough to make getting out a bit iffy ? I remember seeing the few left hitching up their caravans furiously and the last one just got through as I raised to bucket to dig the last stretch to the hedge .Was a stunning looking woman amongst them which I felt sorry for so slowed down ?

    You remember that spot down by the railway I had mate where you did a few roe does and a nice non typical roe buck in spring .That’s the seat that I had overlooking the tree plantings .Just before I lost the ground to a local arsehole who’s paying for the stalking ?, I thought I’d sit in it with the shotgun as there’s always foxes in that planting area . Called and one immediately ran from the far side out of view for a while then appeared to my right and came to within 1 m of the seat .Shot it running away .Next was a fox I could see over the railway line and two fields away .Squeaked pr
