    Best not film digging me thinks Mate of mine tried an amateur vid but another mate more clued up showed him how easy it is to add remove scenes to produce a thoroughly distasteful production that would land anyone in the dock .

    If youve allowed the public on your land at your discretion then you have to be precise in what you will and wont allow in writing .Those disobeying your rules ,and they have to be within reason, are falling foul of commen law and could be prosecuted if reported /caught by the police .Tricky one mate but you are probably best to close the land to all then there is no question of trespass or 'with intent .No byways mean no legal access for bikes ,4x4s .Good will is seldom honored these days .

    when fishing you sometimes get a fish belly up in the net after a session and these are fed to the ferrets .Have fed cat,owl, fox ,crow ,rat and of course all the game .

    Being in the building trade, its customery to have 2 weeks off at this time of year .Critters will be shot ,dug and coursed almost daily .Cant wait .Have a good one and good hunting whatever your sport is . Foxdropper .

    Off thread a bit i know but on the subject of 17 HMR,several of my mates bought them when they came in'fashion' but every one of them has since traded them in for various other calibres .Its a job to say what this calibre excells on that others dont .Its loud,meat damaging and not really up to fox so.........................

    Most car chargers have the facility to trickle charge.Ive used one for years on cealed batteries .The way to muck up a battery is to leave it uncharged .

    Like Rolfe said ,it was the warning note that squirrels use .They hang on to a note for a certain time ,which to other squirrels denotes the type of prey in view .For a bird of prey the note is high pitched,a sort of 'cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeechak -chak',very much like the mating call but higher pitched .Usually done motionless .Ground predators are exposed with short 'chak-chak -chak 'but continuous until the threat is gone .Usually done with the tail flicking over the head .

    At the end of the day ,it is a promotion video and wouldnt sell much if the only noise was a gun going off .They were doing an o.k job of the commentary ,not loud mouthed yanks ,you odviously havnt heard a loud mouthed yank .We had some on an estate i was keeper on and one of them could be heard all day '.Jeeees 'this and 'god damn' that .Now he was a loud mouth yank .

    Perhaps you should get some feeders out of your own mate? .Shot 3 myself yesterday morning,the best weighed in at 43lb 84 deer now !.

    have you ever tried it?....... i have and i have to say don't believe everything you read....or hear from old poachers!! its sooooo difficult to snare a roosting bird you woudlnt believe So im told....JD With you there JD .We had a go one night with a roach pole and wire but the damn pheasants kept ducking and diving and eventually flew off .Very disapointing . .

    I have a .222cz and wouldnt change it .Federal ammo ,loves it .Bought it second hand off a mate and have shot cart loads of kit with it ,including some decent ranges -187 paces being the best .Good scope is the answer to most rifles though .
