  1. Well publically,i bow to superior knowledge but secretly i know your all wrong lol.I stand by the fact ive never seen it .We must have have a very poor vulpine parent support group here in sunny Wilts either that or we are more efficient hunters and dogs are shot before parenting duties can start .
  2. You been round back filling holes you dug this season pabs ,been quiet without you .
  3. If in life you disgard hearsay ,wives tales and bullshit and only rely on what your eyes or trusted mates have seen then you are some way to living with the truth .Like I said IVE never seen a dog have any involvement in rearing litters despite waiting long hours to shoot vixens when keepering .I kept ferrets for years and never remembered more than one litter a year per Jill .Can't say I ever saw a Jill come back in season either after successfully rearing a litter .They were kept in a court with hob always available.Never heard mates talk of two litters either .I have seen other jills rear a
  4. Interesting you say that mate .Of all the dens ive watched over the years ive never seen a dog approach with food or have anything to do with the cubs which lead me to believe the dog plays no part in the rearing of them .This season i am going all out to prove or disprove this with trail cams ive just bought .Finding a litter thats not in mortal danger in these parts is tricky though .
  5. Exactly mate .I too have seen cubs bothering a vixen when well grown over food .Also Oestrus is only brought about by shortened daylight hours which is why foxes rut in winter to birth in spring .
  6. The physical strain on a vixen ,bitch ,jill is too much to allow for two litters a year apart from biological reasons .Facts are more important than a good story .
  7. Set up a photobucket account .Email or upload your pics to it and copy ,paste the url on here .Believe me im shite on a computer so anyone can do it mate .
  8. The two litters from ferrets is impossible mate but not one to argue so crack on .
  9. Actually he went over to the doe after i shot her "quick shes still warm "lol
  10. Be like a red rag to a bull that .Frequent walks down that lane .
  11. They will hunt at night too . All birds of prey do when they've got young . If you watch Nottingham university peregrines . Last year she was bringing all sorts back in the night she even brought a woodcock back . Eagle wont hunt at night ...that peri was catching prey in the city where it is lit up ...regarding the young badger ....this pic was taken from a video and judging by the size of the chick would of been mid late summer where there is only a few hours darkness up this neck of the woods ...probably playing outside a sett in late eveniong or early morning Do you get golden eagles i

  16. Not fake ...a few Mis Marples on here ...lol Lol, it certainly looks fake, I've never seen a badger/fox sized rabbit Get a grip mate ,its fox cubs and a young badger .The fact there is so much meat about is because there is only one chick survived and living life of luxury .Nature at its best id say .Nice one Liam .
  17. Only one way to clean a skull so it presentable and thats boil it ,scrape it ,peroxide it .
  18. Im pretty sure foxes do not have second litters ,may be wrong but i would say they are only capable of ensuring one litter makes it through however early they are born .Oestrus in vixens is triggered by short daylight hours i believe so would not happen this side of christmas .Neither do dogs come in straight away after a litter or ferrets or any other carnivore .Fairy tales are nice but facts are better .
  19. All appears in order to me .There's a roe deeds head behind the badger, fox too .Only a young badger anyway ,hasn't even got its eyes open lol.
