Very concentrate mate ,over cook the mix and it has the opposite effect . -
So just to recap there mate ,you dug the cubs and then laid up for any adults returning and they did indeed return to get to within 50 yards of the dug earth .

Do you mean the concentrate bottle mate because that does 3 ton of corn .Best results in a clean cement mixer .Fill level with corn then add one drop of aniseed let spin then bag it .Only problem is any deer in the area will be drawn to clear up your grub as well ,bonus I guess if they knocking over feeders . -
LA longe carapi, long rifle favoured by early American settlers .You are in the wrong country for experiments of that nature mate .Bullet speed would determine its use in this country I guess as well as any black powder ownership issues .Your cast bullets would have to fit criteria too. Good luck though mate .

Like i said mate ,i dont care how i come across ,those days are long gone when i cared what people think .The messers are what drags this game down .If your content to read untruths and wishful thinkings then crack on but im not .You seem to of sobbered up somewhat from calling me a twat to agreeing there are messers on here ,people that need educating .If im your idea of glamour you need to get out more mate lol .

You seem to be reading too much into anything ive written mate .Unlike a lot of people i dont care how i come across .I just say it how i see it and that obviously has rubbed you up the wrong way .I couldnt care less if my opinion is forthright or it offends you because your getting it anyway .Ive nothing to prove at all when it comes to digging and terriers in general ,some will see this as bigheadness but thats life ,i literally have done most things terrier wise .I know what happens beneath the sod with a committed dog and tend to look down a bit on dogs that arnt exactly to those standards

My Lads First Buck Of Season .
Squirrel_Basher replied to Squirrel_Basher's topic in Deer Stalking & Management
Just to reiterate ,this is not his first buck ,just first of this season . -
In between hail storms we managed to get out and look for a buck ,the skies of late have been very unpredictable here with sun then hail then rain .This particular 6 was thrashing brashing put down for nesting pheasants and at one point was wearing a christmas tree as a crown .My lad spotted the violent thrashing from afar and we stalked in only for the buck to duck under a fence and come running at us .On sticks and he fell where he was to a perfect heart shot from George . After that the sun shone for the last 15 minutes before dark and what a sun set .

You are correct mate but lack of them says more in smooth coated dogs like that .Scars can come from being worked inncorectly in stop ends etc but the lack of them says they havnt yet met a foe face to face in the time honoured manner of their forefathers .Not still a bit pissy about your Plumber set up are you . Seen enough smooth coated dogs that like it up close that ain't heavily scared up and no mate i'm not pissy about what you ever say about my plummer as "i know different and so do the folk that matter to me" ...... Not being polemic but all those traits you require in a dog should be traits you have yourself .A companion dog will learn from you whats require if your any good .

Open your eyes and look at the dogs .If you see workers then fair play but i see young dogs not seen much at all if anything .The OP states he works groundhog ,raccoon and possum ,the first two i know bite back so the fact remains those dogs aint done much .Yet again you are content to follow the flock and be lead but an enquiring mind asks questions .If they are young dogs just starting then great ,look forward to seeing more posts but if we are expected to believe they are working consistent now, then we may have a bumpy ride ahead.

Like your pot lickers FB they must be worked on voles and mice cos they sure as hell ain't been up close to anything with teeth either that or they are way off it .

On an intellectual scale ,this post amongst others of yours is on a minus .You are a sheep that follows ,no brain of your own .You have taken nothing from this thread and given nothing whereas I ,a mere mortal have learnt that the fox in other areas behaves different to ours in general.I have nothing against hunting ,spent many a day with them but certain individuals have voiced opinions about serious control therefore causing a rift .I'm glad you know all there is to know about foxes FB because life in general has seemed to dealt you a short straw .

Because there is nothing wrong with it mate .plenty of litters are reared this way with no ill affects ,only healthy pups .Its not the only way but ...........Your turn .
