    Person I looked up to was Nick Stevens for the reason he was hell of a chap with handling quarry and never to my knowledge charged a penny for a pup .Some will have stories about him ,this and that but who hasn’t done something they weren’t particularly proud of .     Nothing wrong with what you have planned mate. It’s how lines are created and kept tight . Grandfather ,granddaughter is ok too . Some like to use uncles and cousins but only really needed if you intend to breed many litters for some reason or you lose a terrier in the program .
