Not quite sure what your point is....do you think it's good Britain is dependent on foreign health care staff. I don't. But I'm aware it can't be solved by just stopping or making it harder for them to come

I'm not here to comment on the states. It's immoral and ridiculous for Britain to base it's provision of medical and care staff on importing them from abroad. Pray a big African bloke isn't the only option to look after your incontinent mother.

I'd say we are stealing them from countries that need em more than us. Instead of long term investment in training British born.

Problem is we are desperately short of doctors, nurses, health care staff, carers. I agree the answer isn't stealing them from abroad....but solving that shortage won't happen overnight and without massive fundamental changes

The Jews were there 2000 years before Christianity and 2700 years before Islam. I'd say a Jew is a religion and a race and a culture. I sold a ferret to a witch once. She turned up about 5 years later with it on a lead to show us. We had forgotten all about it and my whole family sat bemused in the front room while this mad woman dressed all in black sat in the middle of us with a ferret on a lead. It was a bizarre half hour. We used to weed around the hunt kennels with salt. We had bags of it in the flesh house for salting the skins. Just used to scatter it on the weeds along the drive around around the yards. Obviously couldn't do that on the growing land and raised beds

I spray each shoot with weed killer as it pops up....that kills it but another one will pop up just as quick.....it's like playing whack a mole as it's clearly not killing the roots.

Neighbours garden is full of mares tail and it's now coming up in my raised beds. I'm digging out as much as possible.....is it worth me digging out these roots or am I pisssing in the wind here
