  1. do you mean the one halfway down the bypass on the left, if you were going towards rodley, never tried it, i was told recently that it runs up towards the school ?
  2. i was in Heckmondwike mate, was that where you were thinking ?. Drain...it would have to be an underground sewer for the old bitch to fit down...lol.

tell him to go to Richmonds in Dewsbury, i think he charges my mate a tenner a pup, he's a decent vet and he does a bit of shooting aswell

you see thats the problem, one person complains and everybody else is tarred with the same brush, like your post above seems to indicate.also the word "poor old fox", why use such words it sounds like your reffering to antis ? theres no "poor old fox" where i'm concerned, i have taken out as many with lurchers (pre ban) as a man with a gun probably could, like i said in my previous post "each to there own" what ever your into.
  5. some people get all the wrong ideas, when the word "Dogging" is used....lol. seriously though i was waiting for you to say it was J.Darcy...lol, but if its true why are they still on this site and not in prison with the other sex cases ?
  6. yes i can, 1000,000 quid should cover it...lol, seriously i don't know what my limit would be for a pup, but more than likely i would get one at reasonable money because i would know the person well who bred it.
  7. Just a few snaps i took today with the new camera

cheers mate, i guess it's all down hill from here then lol...
  11. Can you get better then Painter lines. Pups been sold anyway. yes obviously, you said yourself that his other two are better workers. nothings guarenteed so imo it's always best to breed from stuff that is working to a high standard regular.
  12. good reply Kye, we have all probably done it at one time, i have when i was younger when i could'nt always wait to get back out, but looking back it was pretty stupid and could of ruined a good dog just through eagerness.
  13. he's probably a little rusty after the summers rest, and he'll of been so wound up on his first outing that he would'nt of had a care in the world lol.. he'll soon realise the seasons back upon him, and get his head together again. p.s he looks in great shape.
  14. i think if the tyres on the back are a different size to the front or visa versa, it will wind the diffs up and damage the axle and possibly the transfer box aswell, all four tyres have to be the same size.

not a bad bit of shooting then, each to there own, i always took them with the lurchers pre ban and although never got that amount in a night (came pretty close though) would do that amount weekly, quite regular. imo shooters do kill a lot of foxes and so they should, they should'nt be missing many if they know what there doing, but a decent lurcher can take a very large number throughout the season, and so it should to be classed as a proper fox dog. everybody seems to blame each other for the lack of quarry in an area, for example: the lurcherman has a shit night so he blames the shooter be
  16. stick with the mk1 mate, there miles better than the mk3
  17. he should of bred from the better workers imo
  18. horses for courses mate, i have a first cross wheaton/greyhound but i could'nt tell you what he's like on rabbits, he's perfect for what i got him for though .

    saluki

well he can't be choosey with his clothes, it's not easy trying to find a decent pair of strides to fit a 20+ stone man lol...

    saluki

There is currently a saluki/grey bull/grey in the little team i lamp with and although its only run on rabbits now im sure its still as game as it was yes i bet he is, this is him here

    saluki

it's not running now but the dog on the right was a first cross saluki/greyhound and he killed stacks of foxes single handed in his day, but good saluki based fox dogs were imo one in a million, having said that the same could be said for any cross.
  22. i don't know about Ireland, but i would'nt think so over here now with the hunting ban in force, however before the ban i think there was quite a few people taking sika single handed on a regular basis .
  23. theyve got to start somewhere mate,my lad is the same age, i had him out for a bit of a mooch (daytime) but his little legs could'nt take it, i'll try him again in a year or so lol...
