  1. I agree that we have an asylum seeker problem but the trouble is you're banding asylum seekers from the 3rd world with legal immigrants from the 3rd world, immigrants that make up a large percentage of our NHS. We have massive staff shortages as it is, how do you think the NHS would cope if they upped sticks? That doesn't solve staff shortages due to lack of funding and training, our home grown staff will still leave for better pay and conditions. As I said, we need long term funding, training and good management.

    Stonehenge

Yeah, it was built well before 2007 mate.
  3. You do know that immigrants do pay in to the NHS, just incase that slipped your mind?
  4. Again, that's not the point. If you think our services are decimated because of asylum seekers then that's wrong. They are now at rock bottom because of chronic cuts and poor management, it's as simple as that. We need long term investment and planning, you can't expect doctors and nurses to stay practicing over here if we don't pay them well.

    Stonehenge

I think it goes to show that even primitive humans were capable of extraordinary feats. Stonehenge must have been a sacred place for many people of Britain.

In other news, the 6 tonne altar stone at Stonehenge came from the north of Scotland, over 400 miles away from the site. They surely must have transported the stone via the coast, I just can't get my head around the effort and cooperation needed.
  7. I think austerity has a bigger impact personally. And underfunded services will see even more dangerous individuals slip through the net.
  8. Try having sex in a hammock, stood up.
  9. Again, what has that got to do with my posts about the state of our mental health services? Are you claiming that the state of our services has no bearing on anything?
  10. You're just gibbering mate, again, what has this rant got to do with our mental health services being in ruins?
  11. I'm not sure what you are talking about so how can I comment, is this a common theme in the NHS or just your experience?
  12. I think the fans know the teams expectations & capabilities. Lol
  13. Hull to Rotterdam for a morning dip pal?
  14. Gi or mate, your lass was just wanking you off on the train.
  15. Just like when you're coming up on a Vera. Lol
  16. Read this, heartbreaking. The NHS is on it's knees, this should not be happening in the UK. I can't see doctors and nurses knowingly neglecting people like this poor lass, they are simply overstretched and overworked, horrible. Mum who begged for her life could have been saved by hospital, inquest finds NEWS.SKY.COM Laura-Jane Seaman had suffered an internal bleed and was known to be at high risk of post-partum haemorrhage...
  17. That all goes back to broken services, I mean the doctors stated that the Nottingham killer was a serious threat to the public, how the hell he slipped through the net I'll never know.
  18. What's that got to do with anything I just said? As I said, we can't stop lone lunatics if they flip and go rogue. But as Charts said, if they have serious mental health issues and are a clear danger to people they should be detained.
  19. Leeds are looking promising this season, embarrassing team!
  20. It's clear there is a lot of people out on the streets with serious and dangerous mental health problems. The reality is that our mental health services are poorly funded and are overwhelmed by the sheer number of cases. People are slipping through the net who should be detained, I imagine it's the pressure of the number of new patients needing treatment.
  21. You are not necessarily a criminal if you've been sectioned. But yes, our services are in ruin and have been chronically underfunded by the Tories. As we all know, prevention is better than the cure, but again, we will never be able to stop all attacks.
  22. What can be done mate? We can't guarantee that our kids will ever be safe, it's impossible. Stricter sentences for carrying knives might have an impact on gang crime but it isn't going to stop complete nutcases who stab people for no reason whatsoever.
  23. Our proposed roster came out today, 10 out of 13 weekends. Think I'm just going to grow from now on.
