mine was pigeons. I did a bit of pest controlling at my uncles dairy farm in all the sheds. we had a gun each and got about 19 in an hour or so. they were both of our first kills and we went back most weekends that winter and took about 20 a time. we didnt think it was bad going:) -

i keep one of the hutches youve got there as a spare. its a nice hutch and easy to clean. my 2 little jills were in there before they grew up enough to cope with the others

My mate has a small garden round the back of his house (not grass) with solid brick walls and a flat wooden gate. all he does is block the small drainage holes through the concrete walls and they wander around. he has never lost one and i would do the same if i lived where he did. mine have a hutch/type of court with lots of hutches connected with tunnels and a big run attached and mine have never minded that they have loads of space

what are they? to be honest i dont want to do it to control the rabbits in an unsporting way (dont tell the old man!!) as far as im concerned they are there for shooting and ferreting and any other way of catching them which involves me actually catching them in a traditional way lol. if I caught them all in traps it wouldnt be as fun and i may run out of sport lol.

I have never had much to do with terriers but i have a 4 year old border x which is used for ratting but nowt else. this may sound stupid but what other types of terrier work would I be able to do with him as hes not been trained much for the job.

would i be able to longnet at night with the 35 yrder i am about to buy? imy dad is a farmer so have alot of rabbits and was only going to use it with the ferts but i will definately get out there at night if i can

I am hopefully getting my first longnet fairly soon and am wondering if anyone has any old poles i could buy or have. I am getting a 35 yrder so i am working on 1 per 5 yards which is 7 poles. I dont mind what materials as long as they are strong enough. thanks
