I remember fish and chips being cheaper than a Chinese take - away, but now at the local shops a chinky is £7-8 and fishing and chips is over £12. Very rare we buy either; prefer to make our own; Thai green curry king prawn for dinner today ! Cheers.

It saddens me to say I have no respect for “our” police. I consider myself a fairly well educated and thoughtful man, but I’ve never had a satisfactory answer to “policing by consent” . Who gave them “consent , I was never consulted ? I understand that it’s something to do with the police being apolitical, not favouring any government or political party, but it looks like they are now an arm of government, and who can deny that we don’t have political prisoners ? I know ! I was invited to judge at Birr Castle a few years ago in the Republic. I took two lurchers over with me on the ferry and didn’t show my passport or any documents once, in either direction. The lads on my WhatsApp group regularly send dogs back and forth from here and Ireland without any drama. Ive got an invite and I’ll be in the north and the south for a full hunting and fishing itinerary, I don’t need the hassle of taking a dog with me. Cheers.

I agree, the so called “far right news channel “, GBNews has plenty of left and far left ,(too many in my opinion), proponents on their shows. Im watching Jacob Rees Mogg right now and he has two left wingers and one right winger on his panel. Listen to both sides and make your mind up . Yes it was. No, never heard of any neutered non-peds running. Neutered dogs are supposed to go fat but my mates got a neutered greyhound and it looks as fit as any I’ve seen ! Cheers.

I was on the bank and thought the same, it ran like a grew with stamina ! We were there the full three days, I took that picture and had a good chat with the owner. She gave it away after the comp, I would have had it but it was spayed. Also had a craic with the owner of the winner, Shashi. Cheers.

I remember the American woman bringing over this little greyhound bitch for the last Waterloo Cup, Cashells Evening, Only around 24” and 45lb, it put up a great show against the British dogs, winning a few rounds. Cheers.

You can’t conflate legal immigration with leaving the EU. Our own Government controls legal immigration , they issue visas and could just as easily refuse visas, but the won’t. It’s nothing to do with the EU since we left; we took control of our own borders but if the government doesn’t want to control them it’s not the EU’s fault. When we were in the EU , over 400 million people had the right to freedom of movement that we had no control over. That has stopped since we left, but Starmer is going to reinstate it, albeit for under 30’s, but the EU is pushing for it to be under 40’s.

Norway has never been a member of the EU. So it has never voted to leave something it was never in. Completely different to the UK which was a member and voted to leave. It has twice had referendums to join and voted against both times. It joined EFTA, a European free trade agreement, that’s why it is in the single market. Switzerland also had a bespoke agreement with the EU without being a member. The UK voted to leave in its entirety and should have done that. Joining EFTA and the single market could have been voted on after we left the EU but wasn’t considered suitable for

I only seen two big staghounds on a long slip on a white tail buck and it ran away from them. Ive very little experience of our deer, I’ve only really ran roe and I’ve taken them with every running dog I’ve had from whippet to beddy cross to deerhound cross. A good pal of mine took me up Scotland one time and my nine year old deer/grey took a fallow doe , in the lamp , without any drama, so I can’t really comment on deer, mate . Cheers.

No, I believe what I understand, I’ve had plenty of fruitless arguments with people close to me that voted to remain, I’ve had plenty of discussions on here that just go round in circles. If you believe different to me, that’s fine , as I say, I can accept that without agree with it. As far as I’m concerned, the Brexit I and millions of others voted for wasn’t implemented by the powers that be because it’s not what THEY wanted.
