Trump has just said civil aviation has gone backwards because we could fly New York / London in a third of the time on Concord and wants to bring back supersonic civilian commercial flight. That is something I’d like, but I disagree about it going backwards, it moved forward to mass , affordable flights. Concorde was very expensive and carried 100 passengers, todays long haul is relatively cheap and carries 500 passengers. It was political interference that ended supersonic commercial flight, governments banning sonic booms over land, but I hope it comes back and the Uk is at the foref

I had most of those cacti growing wild in my garden in Saudi, also aloe vera, which was great if you or the dogs had a cut or a graze, just cut a bit of the leaf off and rub it on the wound. I’m going to get a plant here and try to grow it. It’ll be outside in the summer but taken indoors during the winter. Cheers. -

I used to go most years, but it got steadily worse, the fair selling more and more rubbish that had nothing to do with horses or travelling, the town full of tourists , the bars charging exorbitant prices and full of drunks wanting to fight I was at a hunt show yesterday and met up with an old travelling mate and asked if he had been to Appleby, he said he doesn’t bother now. Also some lads I know used to travel over in horse drawn vardos every year, but didn’t bother this year. I think it’s more of a tourist attraction now, but I have enjoyed it in the past. Cheers.

I honestly eat well mate, game, fish, fresh veg, eggs from my own poultry, but I do like cheese, which is probably processed, I don’t drink to excess, but probably more than the governments recommended allowance. Ive never smoked and can say on my kids graves I’ve never took any narcotics. When I was younger I was into things like Karate, weight training, running etc. Now at almost 73, I still am out every day with the dogs , have two huge allotments that I take care of. I have regular medical check ups and dental, ( all my own teeth bar one that got broken), eye sight,( I don’t

Francie , why couldn’t your omnipotent god just have pointed his finger and said let it be done and non living material become living ? After all he supposedly did it with clay , in the bible, so why not at the beginning ? I don’t know the answers, but the breathing life into clay seems less likely than a god who planned it from the very beginning and saw evolution as the way forward. Cheers.

Mush,I never realised you were a maths graduate, but you know when you’re doing calculations in your head and prime numbers are red, and Fibonacci numbers are blue and numbers that are both prime and Fibonacci are purple, and your trying to plot a graph , do you ever get confused ? Then you’ve got Algebra, and they throw in Boolean Algebra ! How confusing is that ????? Just having a laugh mate ! Cheers.
