    The Labour health minister has just been on saying he doesn’t want a inquiry,(I wonder why ?), he says he wants stronger laws. Yes, we all want stronger laws to deal with child rapists, but we want an inquiry to find out which MP’s , Councillors, Police Chiefs, Social Services managers were complicit in the cover up in the name of “social harmony” ! Somehow I feel there will be a cover up of the cover up ! Cheers.

    To be fair that one was a lovely dog to have around apart from it going mental and killing desert dogs, and the only way you could get it back was to open the car door and it would jump in. Fell for it every time. I’d upgraded to a Range Rover by then ! LOL ! I had a couple of pures and a couple of crosses but he was my favourite, I had him from 6 months until I had to get him put down at 17. I wish I had more pics but back then there wasn’t digital camera and not many chemists where you could get film developed in Saudi. Cheers.

    Not misleading in the least mate, just my personal opinion based on personal experience. I was quite clear that saluki hybrids, in my opinion , are the best coursing dogs and said it was down to personal choice what type you preferred in todays political climate and your chosen quarry and methods. Cheers.

    I’ve no doubt that saluki hybrids ARE the best coursing dogs out there. It’s what they’ve been selectively bred for. But that doesn’t mean other types can’t do the job. Here in the north east Deerhound blooded dogs were doing the job before the saluki types came along. I like daytime coursing, but the punishments are so draconian now you can’t be wondering around fields all day, you need to be on and of quickly and move on, you also need a dog that’s a bit of an “all rounder”, I probably do more lamping these days.     Perhaps the fact Philip’s constituency, Yardley, has a majority of Muslim residents, or the fact the councillors and MP’s who are mostly alleged to have participated in the cover ups are Labour, may have influenced her decision to deny an investigation ? Cheers.

    Isn’t it indicative of the terminal decline of the UK that New Years celebrations have been cancelled because of the weather ? I can see the Tyne from my house and live a couple of miles from the quayside. I’ve been out for a walk with the dog and yes it’s a bit windy and raining but nothing serious. Im guessing countries like Canada, Norway , Finland, Iceland will all have firework displays and celebrations with far more inclement weather than we have ! Cheers.
