Thought I'd throw in my 10c, cos I'm bored and love a bit of banter... Israel as a state categorically shouldn't exist. The fact that as a nation Britain sailed the Palestinians down the river purely to appease a bunch of zionists f***ing infuriates me. They have one of, if not the single most advanced defence systems in the world and waltz into Palestinian land, swinging their dicks about and forcing civilians folk out of their homes. Its disgusting. What we're witnessing is the mass genocide of peoples all in the name of the Greater State of Israel (have a read up on i

Thanks for the heads up mate, I'll drop you a pm and talk more there -
This has been a nice thread for me to read through. No autistic kids here [no kids whatsoever] but I was diagnosed as having high functioning autistim last year and my diagnosis has been a god send. Always been a bit kooky or eccentric in what I enjoy and found it overly hard in social situations growing up (still at 30, I'd say I've only 1 true friend). Large crowds still make me anxious as feck and I can be mad noise sensitive (something daft like the missus eating can wind me up chronic), but I've managed over the past 30yrs to find coping mechanisms for those situations, like lo

Jumped on the thread to see some filth pits, stayed for the lols as a newbie to watch an argument develop, and the only thing of worth i have to add is to send a man I dont know my condolences on loosing a loved one. Truly sorry for your loss Katchum.

Thank you for all your advice I've booked on to the next available training session and spent this morning trying to pencil out some sort of business plan. Self employed is always preferred, I've never been so happy as when being my own boss, I just hadn't thought of jumping straight in at the deep end with this, but I suppose that's the whole point of qualifications. Thanks again! -
May just be that I dont have fb, but as a heads up, the link comes up as broken when I try follow it

Appreciate the response LoJ, thank you. I'm under no illusion that it'll be stalking and long nets, but its a step towards eventual self employment whilst doing a service I would relish. Going to be applying for rsph 2 today -

Cheers Balaur, thanks for the kind words -
Not sure if this is being posted in the right place, but being as this thread covers pest control, here I am asking for advice.. Covid has meant I've been furloughed for the majority of this year and as its gone on, I've found myself back on the tools for the first time in years. The work has been fun, but its left me seriously considering where to go next, especially as I'm not entirely sure I'll have either job come next March. Ergo, its time for a change [again] and I'd like to do something where I'm actually doing what I enjoy. That said, what advise would you pest controllers ha

Aye, well said, haha. Thats a different kind of trouble mind and one I cant wait for!

Note to self; dont get a saluki x !

Must be bloody heart breaking to watch. . . Aint like your gonna catch the b*****d, haha.

I'd be fecking gutted, regardless of the cost of the dog. I know recall work is important with running dogs but I didnt know they had the tendancy to just feck off ?
-
I cant wait if I'm honest. Not gonna wish away her puppy months, but taking her out for a wander across some acres in the dead of night, cannae come sooner! Thanks buddy

That's basically how I see it bud. For me £50 a year is fair money to have a best mate by my side that keeps me outta trouble and gives me something more to focus on other than mesen.

Its been interesting having a read through this thread, especially as I'm guilty of being one of those covid buyers My whippet x lurcher bitch was up for sale at 1k.. i argued the toss and took her home at £500. For me, I think that's good money whether or not another would have paid it. I know its not the pennies that some have paid over the years, but (without sounding a twat) accounting for the fact everything suffers inflation and the fact dogs are seen mostly as commodities and not working aids, I class £500 as a decent spend in this day and age.

Had myself an early night and seems as though I missed handbags at dawn Just wanted to thank each of ya, as I appreciate each and every one of your responses. For breakfast this morning, Fiadh is getting a bit of beef mince and an egg thrown in with her kibble. If she doesn't like it, I'll just lean in close and whisper "pdsa", haha... If you weren't sure, thats a joke btw
-
No advice for ya sadly, but thats a damn good looking dog!
-
Haha, that killed me. . . Who said running dogs are for working men ... well, at todays prices they arent anyway, but that's a moan for another time.
-
No need for aplogies my man, im just sat, enjoying reading the comments. As I said earlier, its genuinely nice to read replies from folk who so clearly give a shit about their dogs. Just took my wee bitch on her post dinner mooch and couldn't help but crave this time next year when she'll be about ready for running... its a lovely night for it!

Its nice to read the attitudes of folk who clearly value their best mate and working partner, good on ya's! Those fat cakes look proper too @poxon, I've clearly got a lot to learn about just being resourceful!... although yesterday was steak and chips for dinner.. Neither missus nor dog can share that, haha.
