    Naw as long as you dont tear shit up most people will let you run them. I just let my pups go with whatever dogs I am running at the time. I usually will have two grown dogs and a pup down most every time I go but sometimes not so much. Hell half the time all Im hunting are pups. Two seasons ago 90% of my catches were with two young gyps that were just about 14 months and 18 months at the beginning of the season. They did it though.

    Dont know how much Doc gets on here so I will give my answer. We dont have much trouble with rabies and I think most of us try to get our dogs vaccinated when we think about it. Second off, you cant fool with pronghorn legaly but it dont matter cuz you damn sure aint catchin one no matter what.

    85-95 pounds seem to be about the best dogs Ive seen. Bitches dont weigh as much but to be honest I aint seen enough good dogs to really have an opinion.

    Its damn cheap here cuz Id just do it myself and be done with it. I've only kept two dogs that were nutted though cuz they were good dogs. Normally Id never keep a dog that was though cuz usually if a dog is on my yard he is my stud dog or else he wouldnt be there 99% of the time.

    I do like a bitch more than a male dog cuz I just get along with them better but if you got a good male you wont have a hard time finding someone to breed to it. They will be beatin down your door wanting to breed to your dog. A good male dog dont have to go lookin for bitches to breed. They come to him.

    Make it real easy and way cheaper. Just go get your dog cut and or do it yourself. If ya want to get your gyp spayed later on then you can do that to. More folks should have their dogs fixed to be honest. It dont hurt a damn thing.

    how many runs in a day on yotes Dan , would you say your stags do.? Meaning say the stags , in the motor for good time, before you sight a yote .Then its all hell brake loose out of the motor lol. Iknow youve said some runs can go on for a mile or so , and going at full speed they got good stamina to do that. just wonder thats all mate, as here prob some of the lads rabbiting dogs prob have lots of runs quick in prob 4-5 hours , just differnt types of running mate.? 0-6 runs.     Simo, I aint knockin you nor your dog but I seriously doubt that your dog is as fit as you think it is. I havent read any of the replies really but your dog may surprise you if you took it up there often and just kept building it up a lil bit at a time. I aint sayin it will ever get as fit as Tomo's dog cuz I dont know either dogs but you cant get a dog running "fit" by exercising it along a road with your bike or walkin it or whatever. You can do all that til you are blue in the face but the dog wont be in shape like it will be when you take it hunting and run it over and over and over

    I think the collie crosses are pretty damn neat dogs. If I had to take one I would most definately take one over the deerhound, sazuki, whippet, beddy types. I dont wanna start any arguement cuz this is a good thread but thats just the way I see it. I actually believe in the collie cross especially if they are linebred lamping types.
