f**k aye! As I've said mate Broony has in the passed not been a favourite of mine but when he is out the team he is severely missed. I wouldn't want it any tighter tbh, its nice to be able to see the dogs every move in the spill while still having the quarry in the hot spot, nothing worse than a real tight beam and lamping somthing and seeing nothing untill the dog pulls in enough to strike. Fair point. Need to get myself one to give a bash...... So if anyone doesn't get on with theirs......

tried it ross as a cone shape it dulls the light and tried a sleeve and it cuts it down a tad but you would need a long sleeve on it so i gave up on tthe idea What about almost like a lid with a smaller hole?
