from the best that you can find a dog that is at the top of its game to a bitch at the top of her game.......worker to worker i understand that mate, but im sure there is dogs out there with no big names in there breeding that can do the same, if not better job than dogs with the breeding behind them? im reading this back and it sounds like im trying to be a smart arse when im honestly not, if say you had an unknown lurcherx with very little saluki in him and he was taking fen hares for fun and you had one that had say khan jihad in its "breeding" which was taking hares but not as go

spot on with the breeding for yourself, i intend to line my bitch next year keeping 1 for myself and the intended sires owner wants 2, a relative wants 1 and a few friends are showing a small interest at the moment, in an aideal world she'd have 4 pups but chances are a fine thing, and im not heartless enough to cull excess pups before some one suggests it, i will also stipulate that if for any reason it doesnt work out, the pups come back to me instead of being past from pillar to post,

another question, where does the original breeding come from if its all in the breeding? or is the breeding just a dog that was good at it? lol

example, you get a dog, breedings there but its came from a pet home, now its 3yrs old in its prime so it should work coz the breedings there? what if it doesnt? why? now you take your run of the mill mongrel thing (i know lurchers are technically mongrels) its out most days running around with the terriers and lurchers, this thing is picking up rabbits, but the breedings not there? me personally think its down to how the owner works them how often, what with, how its entered ect....... i agree that once slipped its all down to the dog, when to turn when to strike we dont have a say in that

them pictures are 2 year old mate, and your right theres not much marking on her in them, and to be honest there isnt much more marking on her now, and even if she was marked up i wouldnt be posting pictures on here that would be plain stupid and just asking for a knock at the door, ok no reverse gear maybe the wrong term, she hasnt spat yet? that better? i know what this bitch is capable of so do a few lads, not many on here right enough but there is a couple, thanks for the comments on the pups.

my bitch done it years ago, kept it clean, bit antibiotic powder, on lead for till healed, cant remember how long the healing process took, anyway nail grew in curving outwards. came off a couple other times no matter how long i left it to heal, in the end shes left with a stub for a nail, doesnt affect her working abilaties at all.

nice pups mate . dont kwow the bitch but the father of the pups is a realy good dog he takes all qarry atb cheers mate, this bitch is 100% on all quarry, HASNT SPAT YET!, hows buster doing, fine big stamp of an animal!

one to one works better although in saying that my terrier (which i havent had since pup but since around 9mths of age)when out without the big dogs just wants to chase livestock which is a big no no, but with the lurchers who are stock broken just follows suit and pays no attention, i guess they take her attention away?
