-

-
Stafford or newark end of year or keep looking on birdtrader or birdtrek. Won't you have one nipper end of season ?
-
The bitch im keepin back. Me an the wife are just getting her used to us being hands on. Said to the misses with her being rough coated she'll need to have her coat delt with when she's abit older , if not from me by the dog groomer plus vets when getting checking her over.. There's Nothing worse than a dog or older pups trying to disappear off the table at vets scared after a few visits . I've one here our stafford that loves to pull your arm out of socket when she's leaping off table unannounced at the vets. An bath time well that's a different story lol

Pups are tucking into meat now just over three weeks very forward pups. That bitch im keepin back is like a tank big robust pup.

Well just got back from work straight into the birdroom. Sorting birds out an a could hear some day old chicks calling. Which you can't beat hearing that coming from under your hens. This morning there was nothing there , so space of 8 hours they've hatch. There's 3 at the moment but I'm hoping the 4th one pips through today It should do a set all 4 eggs , all 4 eggs were fertile too.

Are you interested in any Ferreting???
Bangersanmash replied to Deker's topic in Ferrets & Ferreting
Like you say it's wrong time of the season. Be alot of digging down to maybe dead young if ferret wants to stay. But one thing what gets me is lads that will leave it for their benefits an not the landowners. Your there to do a job so get it done it's not your land , but alot of guys who own an work ferrets don't see it that way lol. -
New welping box I've made for pup lined sides an bottom with some 2mm white pvc. Pups seem to be enjoying it.
-
Its only what the mother does to her pups. You wanna pack in hunting fella thas getting soft in your old age scruffing a pup..An a ferret or polecat will still know that its had its knackers f****d about with. Weather vets do it or you do it trust me. Just with vet he's laughing thinking I've just lined my pocket with 200 odd quid.. ? Once that young Ferrers had a Jill for the first time an this is fact. He will perform without his knackers so no need for a vasectomy. It's just like a dog even though he has his bollocks taken off he still knows when a bitch is in season an will still jump on h

Smart looking that. You wouldn't want to take a wrong turn into his or her yard lol

Defo that bitch pup was moaning alot an soon as I put her down to walk she would whin mate. That laziness needs knockin In the bud an specially moving from nipple to nipple knocking all the pups not just the grek. She's was that big she was pushing them all off. Over 100g is alot of weight to use to throw about for a pup.. So the other pups would just come off the nipple an lay down. Now if I'd of let that happen every feed time all the pups would of lost weight not just one. My wife was showing me videos through phone when I'm at work of what she was doing so a told my wife what to do. An it

That's her on the left mate proper tank. All the other pups are about the same size as the one on the right. Here she just laid down moaning again. Until she knew a wasn't putting her back in an moved about a little bit an a mean abit lol. Thats what she does lazy down an moans little f****r. Bottom pup in pick has abit of spirit started growling at camera lol. All getting their own personalities little characters now.
-
It wasn't like I'd taken her off all day. Just brought her away from the dam for one feed to let the other pups get the intake an stop her being greedy an to move about an get active. I've not known a pup to be so lazy to be fair. Lol. She's a lovely looking pup but I'm thinking twice now about keeping her back. Soon as you take her away from the Penn she starts moaning an crying other pups love to mooch about am play like pups should do mate.
-
It was more so her being lazy mate an that's with her constantly on the nipple greedy not letting the other pups get a look in. Lol You normally a grek of the little an bullied off she was bullying them all off. She'd work her way down just pushing them off. It's strange because she was the last pup out but the biggest pup. The bitch was really struggling to part with her she was that big. Wife was sayin its going to be a vet job. But I've helped bitches many times at home with my parents an seen my old man help them. A just waited for her contractions an her pushing an just gently with abit

I've bred dogs for years Danny my parents breed staffords mate for show. I've jotted all there progress down like a say an there all fine the pups. A just did that for a few days to get her more active an she's bouncing round now so it worked. Mothers on puppy formula an tripe chicken an beef mix that a get from mc kennels an load of treats like hearts an liver. She looks fine plenty of milk in her. Just that this bitch pup would bully all the pups of the nipple. Shed work one nipple then move onto next. There's one pup that's lost abit of weight which I'm watching on. She's lost 54g in a week
-
Why thank you soft Lad
-
Since week one I've noted down the progress of the pups weight to makesure there all getting the right intake an progressing in putting weight on. This bitch is double the size of her siblings. Her siblings are very active interacting with one another like pups do at three weeks old playin with one another . All she's doing is sleeping a little movement by crawling to the bitch for milk. She's not using her legs like she should be. So she's missing a feed an I've had her out moving about. Since doing this in the past few days she's picked up more active. But she's still alot bigger than her s

Another two to the collection
Bangersanmash replied to Bangersanmash's topic in Cage and Aviary Birds
A friend from down south took them off me mate. A swapped him them for a sibo goldy a nice whitetop hen. How's your seasons going anyway you've not put owt up yet. -
The father to my bitch was a strong dog big old parson. His head an jaw line looked like a small stafford built like a tank smooth coated he was. Great little grafter chap had plenty of photos to show me of him out working. Mainly of him ratting an mother she was a good little worker too.

You want to be using Irish fancys or razza canaries if you want the smaller bird ie to Mule. I believe you can't beat the Spanish timbrado for muling varigated. I used to bred goldfinch mules didn't do too bad with them. But then a went onto breeding sibo goldfinches an for past 6 seasons managed to get my own eumo lines going now. I've just bred some eumo pastel pieds. Classic pieds to my eumo birds. So now it will be like a box of chocolates when a bred the yougens next season. Many mutation colours will come out of the pieds
-
A lot do this with the pied goldfinches nipper. They'll put a native pied cock over a sibo hen then keep the young back an breed them the year after to another native pied bird an so on. Then they'll get some nice mutation pieds but more like the natives size.. Am not into smaller birds a like the big sibo pieds specially the classic looking..
-
Your right nipper all mutation birds dna will go back to the original native bird what ever Species of mutation , and the native pied for one will somewhere down the line come from a Mule type bird Species that can perform an be fertile. But a don't get where he thinks they just look like a big canary. A wish they were cheap like canaries lol

An you don't understand even cutting there tubes can still stop a hob doing his duty that's what I'm trying to tell you that a pal of mine had a young hob. Because he'd never been over a Jill his mojo had gone all together " An the vet said it can happen in young ferrets thats never been over Jill's. Now do you understand what im sayin ? So weather he gets them taken off or the snip or even the tubes just tide. A young hob can go lazy it's not 100% certain that it will work for him to perform his. The vet told him you should always let a young hob mate with a Jill once just so that he underst
