I She's just startin to get that Lakeland coat Danny nice an tight wavey at the back end of saddle. Few weeks ago she had her first session out on local syndicate ponds ratting , ended up killing four with a little help from her mother.

Them bits you can see the blue strip's at the bottom of the cages , are for the bottom partition groves. Its for when your not using them as breeders an more so flight cages stops all shite getting into the groves good idea to be fair they just clip in.

It's a friend in the bird game who's made me them. His son works with the materials used to make the cages cladding hospitals an nursing homes out with the stuff. An was on about it one day me buying some. Then i thought about it asked if he purchased the materials off his son would he be interested in making them for me. Come to arrangement a little deal cages for a pair of birds. All in materials about 500 quid but like you say to buy I was looking over 3000 grand with draws. Altogether when cages are stacked it's 17ft long 6ft in hight. There not box standard size cages there big deep one

I've a few red eye variegated cinnamons stunning birds I'm keeping them for next season to mule up.

They've gone a pal of mines taken them for him an his son to breed bully's in. That's what it cost me 60 quid for hire van half day big old merc sprinter. He helped me pick & fit the new cages. For that I let him take the old ones plus dropped them off for him. His sons face was a picture when we turned up with them. A wish at 12 year old I had a set up like that given. You can see difference from wood to plastic

Lovely bird mate. I don't give my birds carophyll. I use beetroot blended up the beetroot that comes vacuum sealed.

Finally finished hopefully get them fitted next weekend when birds have fully moulted out. Don't want to start pullin old cages out an fit new till after then.

I've some cages that will be going soon after I've fitted the new ones. Only thing is a won't have anyone at my gaff to pick them up so will have to come to some arrangement.

Units are nearly done now hasn't taken my pal long to knock these up. I've worked with pvc foam before it's so easy to work with. It's not cheap though all in its cost just over 500 quid for materials. But we come to a deal where it wouldn't cost both of us a penny. He owns his own business working with this pvc foam kitting hotels out the kitchens & shower rooms So he just put materials on the job so won't cost him owt. Just told him I'd give him a pair of birds. If I was to buy these I'd be spending over a grand easy jimmy. There not standard size cages I've had the cages built to my me

What's your plans with it next season ? Was plenty of sib goldfinches this year at Stafford most British bred which is a good sign

Just shows you the mentality of some youths today. When we was young we'd go down woods out of the way of general public an have a little fire making sure it didn't get out of hand we'd place some rock boulders round from the old quarry. Then have a rope swing set up some munch from shop. We'd be rushing home from school to get changed an down there. Started to collect paint balls because they set up a paintball course down there , we'd fined the pain balls under old steal shee bale's of hay too from the little hide outs where they'd left them. Same round my way idiots smashing them for funny. Seems to be these little twats on fart pipes they call mopeds up an down my way smoking the green then think f**k it will throw bottles up against bridge. Then some poor f****r walks there dog ends up with a vet bill if not so lucky. I always walk through with dogs on leads now won't let them off that area. She's had a hand full of rats now down on local rag depo near me it's full of them mate she's just coming upto 6 months

Just having some new cages built for next season. There will be 18 single breeding cages 3 in one unit 6 units altogether plus set of draws will be built for them to sit on. Units are made from pvc foam think its 10mm. With them being stacked think they'll need a strengthener on the bottom of each unit to strengthen them up a little or may be fine once a few little screws in the bottoms to tighten them all up..

Came across these yesterday evening filling up on wild rowan berries. There's a cock an hen. The hen has some lovely colour In the cheeks. But not sure if that's the reflection off the rowan berries or not.

She's shaping up fine mate lovely little bitch. Puts my stafford bitch in place even though a know my stafford bitch would roll her over , she's got some spirit the pup. My staffords that good with her very laid back she let's pup think she's got upper hand. This was yesterday evening her scenting up on a track where a know a gasper uses to venture over golf course an over the railway track at other side.. She's using her nose alot now not shying away from over too.
