Think you only get "slaughtered" if the books crap . Best books are by Darcy, Harcombe, Chapman, Dooley and dare I say it some Plummer books are a good read

I have two of my dogs insured and keep my fingers crossed nothing happens to the other one. Didn't get her done because insuring older dogs with some companies is a pain. Mines through petwise and is about £8 each per month
Thats what I thought Rob but he swears blind that switching the safety discharged the gun I think he was getting slightly pi**ed off after the 10th time I said are you sure you didn't pull the trigger

Out clay shooting today when my right barrel stops firing, anyway it looks like the firing pin has disapeared Anyway we carried on with the other barrel shooting singles. My friend was in the cage when the gun went off kicking up the earth 2 feet in front of him I asumed he had pulled the trigger but he swears that his fingers were not in the guard and that releasing the safety caused the gun to discharge
Has anyone heard of this before as to be honest this sh*t us both up. This was his first outing and he was telling me how much he enjoyed it and would like another go but after this hap
I trusted my old dogs 100% with my ferrets and they used to enjoy chasing each other around the garden When my current terrier was 8 weeks I introduced her to a couple of jills and one latched onto her nose, had hell of a job getting her off and from that day my dog will kill them if she gets the chance
Thanks for the reply and I agree that I must be sending signals subconciously Good advice One amusing thing is that I am a trainer at our local club :11: and have qualified dogs in sports and been involved in training national winners in dog sports and security trials, funny but sometimes in needs someone from outside to highlight the simple things
