  4. My mate tends to buy and sell lots of air guns but he has stuck with this one. He loves it and recently decided to keep it instead of getting a Theoben. The gun is very easy to shoot and has a 10 shot magazine.

  6. Couldn't believe it Kane See the odd roe in my area and other parts of Lincolnshire hold roe, fallow, muntjac and even red. Not used to seeing them so easily

  8. Got the second and third dvd's The wrecking crew dvd has excellent action There are also the warrener dvd's, some good footage but lots of time filming nothing so ok to put the kettle on
  9. Thanks I read that head shots were preferable to chest shots so thats what I usually go for, its just i'm convinced a pigeon last week eventually died from lead poisoning as it took three head shots to drop it from its roost, it was like a feathered terminator
  10. Been using the air arms pellets in my gun and I like them but the pigeons sometimes need another shot to kill them, is there a better pellet or am I just a crap shot :11:
  11. Hi Joe, I'm sure someone with greater deer knowledge than myself such as JD would know but the Muntjac was feeding outside a wood primarily made of oak. This was around Winchester, the roe were all seen north of Southampton not too far from the M3 The muntjac I have seen have been found in old oak woods but is this coincidence?????? I'd be interested to know.......
  12. With the number of quicks you are cutting I'd get a friend to do it....................
  13. Been to stay with family in Hampshire this weekend. They have recently bought a large rural property with a couple of acres surrounded by farmland a few miles from the New Forest. Arrived Saturday and had a look around to be told that the local wildlife spent a lot of time in the garden Had a walk out at dusk on Saturday and surprised a roe doe in some brambles before a last look around about 2330, saw dozens of bunnies, two more roe and a fox in the orchard. Also had a mooch Sunday morning and found a three holed earth on the garden boundry and flushed another roe from some long grass. D

  18. My mate and I decided to have a wander around the farm and see what was about. We always get something at this farm, mainly pigeons but also rats, rabbits and foxes. We shot inside the building and got about 16 feral pigeons beofre taking the 4wd across some stubble, we only saw a couple of bunnies and I was spotlighting and shooting (difficult for me ), I had just got the crosshairs on a rabbit when a fox came through the hedge not 20 yards away, unfortunately the shotghuns were bagged in the bag. We stopped and loaded up whilst I squeked him in, unfortunately this fox had heard a call be
  19. How do you rate them Laguna estates Simoman ? Thought about getting one myself. Excellent, 36 mpg for a 2.0 petrol. Loads of room, apparently has the largest boot on an estate. All mod cons like electric sunroof/mirrors and windows. Comfy ride and reliable, had mine 5 years and done over 135,000. Had to replace cat converter and exhaust but nothing else.
  20. I've had them in the past, very expensive but easy to hose down. At the moment I have weldmesh cages and prefer them but lintran are good......just expensive.
  21. Same here, i've just e-mailed Dave as my new subscription started with the October mag and I wanted to make sure the cheque had arrived.
