    I agree, the public should know that money and time is being wasted on somebody hunting rats when we have serious crime being commited. I would hope that the public would be outraged that taxpayers money is spent on such pathetic prosecutions, this reminds me of the thread Lucky started about them putting planes and choppers in the air to catch poachers. Personally as a non-poaching taxpayer i'd like to see that money spent tackling serious crime that actually affects my society and makes it more difficult to safely raise my children.

    I'll think you will find Red deer are more widespread than you think, Somerset, Devon, Hampshire, Lancashire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Sussex AND the Midlands, so yes there are feral Reds in Staffordshire. In Lincolnshire we have Red herds close to towns like Market Rasen and Scunthorpe......Failing that Fallow seem an obvious culprit...........Also I did ask which county you were in, smartarse

    Last year we borrowed a friends brand new 2.5 Forrester, wow. It was a great drive and super fast but out of my price range and if I could afford one I wouldn't dare take it off road......
