Mine get chicken carcase as the bulk of the diet along with rabbit, pigeon and mince.

Now obviously groundhogs are dug too in the States but the Prairie dogs I've seen in zoos are rabbit sized so even if they did breed, and it were legal thye are too small for terrierwork.

Agree 100%, apart from not knowing what caused its death I wouldn't feed a family pet to my ferrets.

Eel is something i've never tried, i'll eat most things but jellied eel just doesn't appeal. Watched Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall catch elvers and fry them in a pan before setting nets in a brook and skinning and frying the adults.

Its a Prairie Dog 100%. Theres a lot of released exotics out there, a raccoon was caught near Lincoln a few years ago and more have been sighted............
