  1. Mmmmm, be one slow rabbit to be caught be a Am bull. We have excellent x's catching various quarry already and not sure why your mate has bred them as you already say HE has better dogs so why breed from inferior stock unless its a money spinner? To me Am bulls are heavy, less athletic and don't have that special "something" bulls do. I aplogose for hijacking your thread and i'll leave it there
  2. Sorry Aaron, my mistake I believe it was Rainmaker kennels who posted the article.
  3. Painter lines may be better on boar but what use on our quarry species?
  4. At 8 months do you mean empty earths?
  5. I used to be a cub scout Years ago I was on my way home with my sixer when we were attacked by a stranger, he beat my friend up and later as I crossed a road he hit me with a car.........hang on i've just re-read your post pip
  6. Its Darcys after paying for his tv license.........
  7. Jonno, Forgive my ignorance.....and dashing good looks but what is sallow and whats it for?
  8. Scum scum scum One day you WILL get caught in the act...............
  9. Its a bit difficult from a photo but for the love of god remove that collar.................
  10. Poor boys brigade lads Pip, they were only walking home after chess practice
  11. I agree with Lucky, why increase the risk of failure by failing to breed from the best?
  12. When I was a student (don't hiss) in the late 90's I had to give a presentation on the merits of terrierwork in efficient fox control to a large group of students at my agric college. It was definately an "experience" but Barry helped me enormously with lots of information, facts and figures which helped my talk.
  13. Thats the thing that bothers me the most, possesions can be replaced, although I could do without the £150 excess is that my little girl had nightmares last night it is obviously playing on her mind as she kept discussing it yesterday afternoon. I doubt for one second these pieces of dirt think about the upset they cause although i'd sure like to explain.......
  14. this is why im teaching my kids to be more disaplined as well as shoot and fight, the socity their going into will be a battle ground if nothing is done to change things lee Hang on soldier, I was just having a whinge, I don't want to up sticks and move the family to Montana to live in a bunker
  15. Trouble is the alarm didn't go off I always try and look out for my neighbours as many are elderly, my wife called the police when she saw the same guy from our garden in a garden three doors down and I went to see them and gave them my number. I also went across the road a few weeks ago to kick two guys out a drive opposite when they were taking things out of a skip, aswell as getting dressed and going out when someone was hanging around my neighbours van. This area is becoming a sh*thole and I'm hoping to move back to a rural hamlet in the next couple of weeks. Might leave a dog sleeping
  16. The neighbour knocked on the door this morning to inform me that someone had been on my drive trying to get into my truck at 4am, I took a look to find my lock barrell gone, the door scratched and a few things stolen from inside including my sat nav, phone charger etc. The neighbours called the police who drove by 10 minutes later without stopping but I was pissed the neighbours didn't bother phoning me I immediately checked the kennels to ensure the dogs were there and luckily enough they were fine. I'm now waiting for the police but feel so pissed, not only that I didn't catch the little
  17. Best of luck Scotland I'm sure you were rooting for us this afternoon
  18. Sad thing is that scenario happens hundreds of times each day. Several years ago I worked as a dog warden for a very rural local authority, we picked up in excess of 400 dogs a year and the majority were never claimed by their owners I have seen how many "pets" are treated by their "loving" owners............
  19. Edge of the seat stuff this afternoon. Think the Kiwis will beat France and we will have our hands full nest week but maybe if lady luck is shining
  20. I know the feeling, i've only got a couple of more sizes available before shopping at specialist fatboy shops
  21. Fit, athletic looking dog lucky, not sure about the tracky bottoms though
  22. They are in the local stream near my work. Just walk through the water collecting them. Look through shallow streams and if they are present you'll see them in no time.............
  23. Couldn't agree more chalkie, I think litters and dogs should be available on THL and I also agree that who in their right mind buys a dog without asking a shedload of questions first? When I buy a dog I keep it for life so i'm not buying something on a whim thats going to be in my kennel for 15 odd years. Ian the 50 post minimum sounds good, but as Ditchy mentioned many rack up 50 "nice dogs" posts.........
