    Infact I've had some good...some very bad Austin Montego, good...for a while Mini Metro, not good for the ladies when your 21 years old Ford Sierra Sapphire (very nice) Rover Metro, the 1.4 GS with leather and electrics, for posh old ladies Vauxhall Astra Estate, economic but slower than Geoff Capes in a bear trap Renault Laguna Estate, very nice Nissan Navara, excellent Been through those in 16 years since I got my first at 18...

    I did have my sisters old Metro once, a 1 litre powerhouse with only 4 gears It didn't help that it had "the metro touch" on the rear windscreen, whats that all about....Sad thing was she gave it me and bought a sporty version... Leveller, don't try and be all cool, I bet your first car was really a Fiat 126........... Here you go Ricky, not mine but I had Blue....for a boy :kiss:

    My first car was an Austin Montego 1.6L when I was 18 It cost me £1,200 and another £1,000 for third party insurance. It lasted me 4 years and took me from Nottingham to Chelmsford every weekend to visit my girlfriend, now wife when she was at University. It eventually caught fire due to an oil leak on the A610 on the way to deliver it to the new owner

    Witton, I've seen so many urban foxes in the middle of Nottingham just get yourself a big mac wrapper and give it a rustle, they will come in from miles around.

    Yuk :sick: Not the scabby ferals mate. We have been doing too good a job at our farm, last 18 months we have averaged a dozen a night, now we get 2/3 and thats it, the farmer is happy but its not much fun for us.

    This is a question for those who took foxing with lurchers seriously before the ban. What was your prefered method? Did you mainly lamp from a vehicle, walk the land or salt an area? Obviously working from a vehicle would enable you to cover more ground and seems to be more popular but did you feel more comfortable walking the fields or salting an area and waiting? What would you class as the main pros and cons? Look forward to your replies fellas.......

    Luckily enough none of mine are bothered, they have always slept in the kennel when we have had displays in the garden. I got all mine used to blank firing guns as pups and worked on desensitising them to noise. I feel for people whos dogs are sensitive and think fireworks should only be at organised displays. ACP used to be a good method of calming sound sensitive dogs.

    The mind boggles, it really does. Are we not in this together nomatter how you hunt. What was the saying...oh yeah divide and conquer. Arguing amongst ourselves is plain fecking stupid...............Did we not march for OUR hunting rights regardless of method Care to explain what a gun has got to do with hunting with dogs? End of the day the rifle/gun men are doing alot more damage to my sport than any one else, it's anything with eyes is getting hit on the land.     I wouldn't feed my kids pets to my ferrets full stop, I don't get all anthropamorhic and treat them like little people, they are animals but they are different to the wild animals I kill as part of my hunting.
