they was catching rabbits at 4 months and if i told you what else they started catching at 6and 7 months you would just call me a liar .. .besides it would not be aloud on this site Not my cup of tea as I dont like the temperament of the northern breeds but best of luck, one very positive attribute and I don't mean this offensisvly is they dont look like a typical lurcher which attract attention.........

Depends what you class as fast, obviously not on par with a pure running dog mix. I have seen first crosses run and they had variable speed. I had a first cross that was fast enough for everything but hares could only be taken on the lamp. This was years ago before current legislation made this illegal. They were bred for a specific task were blistering pace wasn't the main requirement...........

Wolfhound blood has been used in the creation of certain boar dogs in Oz and "perhaps" in coyote lines from what I have read but I can't imagine a modern day wolfhound could catch any British quarry, too slow, awkward and big..............

I dont care if there green/black brown with blue circles, from England/Poland or Dubai, there origin is irrelavent, the fact that they were trying to abduct a child should ensure they are never free to walk the streets again..................
