  3. Premium ammunition A box of 20 Norma Oryx .308w cartridges costs 860sek/£72. A box of 100 Oryx bullets costs 1099sek/£91, a can of 500g powder 499/£41 (enough for about 180 .308w cartridges, 350 223rem), Primers 65sek/£5,4 for 100. = £137,4 for 100 rounds of .308w ammunition, with range pick up brass. Accuracy 35mm /100m for my reloads never tryed factory. A box of Lapua scenar competition ammo costs 1250sek/£104 for 50 rounds. The bullet only costs 710/£59 for 100 my rifle will probably shoot them 25mm/100m as my reloads. I expect factory ammo to do about the same.
  4. Its amazing how different English regulation are to Swedish here we can only use an air rifle for target shooting a .17hmr are only allow for small game like rabbit/crows not fox but we can use 222r for roedeer and lynx. A new hunter here are considered needing 4 rifle/shotguns for example .22rl smallgame/practice, 3006 moose/bear, 12g shotgun for hare/wildfowl and maybe a 223rem or a second shotgun. Experienced hunters can have two more if they can explain how they are going to use them for example a 6,5*55 for birds in top of the trees a semiauto shotgun for goose/ a light 20g for grouse sho
  5. I have a cheaper red dot on my combination gun 12g/222r (sold a 12/6,5*55) it works well for fast shots on closer range. I also use a military model Aimpoint on a service rifle, about five years of battery life if you forget to turn it of. Most manufactorers buy a cheap diod and cover it so only a small area are shown Aimpoint buy one in the right size it makes it appear rounder and to have long battery life.
  6. "I like the nordic model. Big wages (Not me), high taxes (Yes) which even the right accept as morally just (Yes most of the rich people accept the taxes but Sweden has very generous ways of tax avoiding for rich people not for workers who pay the main part of the tax). Result? No tent cities, no child poverty (Child poverty exist but the level are lower than in UK), dignity at work no matter what your status (Migrant truckdrivers are not getting dignity on work, and the Swedish ones are priced out). The nordic people actually trust their politicians (nope many polititians trade their values aw
  7. It could be worse it Poland has 1,4 and many of the young are working in other countries their children are taken care of by the grandparents.
  8. UK have a fertility rate of 1,59 child per woman so you will need a stream of immigrants (and so will most of europe).

    AUKUS...

No I wrote France have less chances to service their subs in the pacific with out the Aussie deal. As I understand Australia are not going to service the nuclear reactors as Australia have taken a decission to not have any nuclear power on their continent (water are exluded) the new reactors for submarines are not going to be refueled for 25y and it may be done in US. Jasinda Ardern not I said nuclear submarines even run by their closest ally are not allowed in NZ waters. AUKUS are still a new living pact, but cancelling a contract will make the time for Australia to get new submarines longer

    AUKUS...

None of them as Australia now are going to continue using their six Swedish/Australian Collins class subs by a service life extention.

    AUKUS...

Nuclear or neuclear this also makes Australian submarines possible nuclear missile launchers as both british or US options can launch neuclear weapons.

    AUKUS...

Yes its why it was very important to France to have Australia as an allied in the pacific. France have territory close to Australia. This Aukus pact also leaves the two commonwealth "five star" members Canada and New Zealand out in the cold.

    AUKUS...

UK cant afford the Astute class only four are delivered the last one Audaciuos took 11y to build, the next Anson were laid down 2011 and have still not been commissioned. The last two could be sold to Australia? Same with UKs two aircraft carriers two buildt but only supporting ships for one of them and only enough F35s a half carrier.
  17. I dont think 6,8 Western are going to be popular in Europe but with the US army NGSW program and the fast twist rate a new interest may come for the .270s. Finnish ammo manufacturers makes 10g/155gr bullets for the 270win and with a faster twist a 6,8mm bore could shoot monometal bullets in what weight range (for moose and bear). .224 Valkyrie may be taken over by the new hot 6mm ARC for the ar15 platform.
  18. Whats why I wrote .308 as the bullet diameter of both is.
  19. As soon as you write deer are the 243win out by barrel twist. Both the .243 and 6,5 are a bit much for rabbit ammo cost ~1£ each too. For monometal bullets and deer the .308 cant be beaten.
  20. I love my Bergara ba13 300blk I reload it for the same price as 22wmr or 17hmr ammo, with 110gr Sierras it has flat enough trajectory to 150y. Plenty of engergy for foxes it is allowed for roedeer here. Lead free bullets can be found for varmints and deer hunting.
  21. The German small arms developement before during and after the two world wars are the basis of most modern rifles today. HK even fixed most of the problems with the L85 rifle.
  22. You already has a problem if your garage is 5 feet from a river and your kitchen only 3 above the water. As for over population use a condom, it might even become a polititian.
