  1. Read post wrong lol So did you get millet arrested yet or you waiting till he as his wicked way with you ?
  2. Dont like the look of the dog not my type ... Also an 1/8 halved is not 1/32 it's 1/16 ... Not that it matters in dog breeding ... And as millet bummed you yet? What did it feel like ? Was it good ?
  3. Well done mate just one thing I'd like to add...... Your one ugly fecker lol

    Question.

I think if you had signs up saying Dog loose on premises You'll be fine as it was the foxes fault for ignoring the warning signs lol
  6. its a pup, 8 and a half month and you dont like her,so your getting rid of her. she is still learning, so why rehome her Why keep a dog you don't like? All you'll end up doing is leaving that dog in the kennel and working one of the others instead , she won't get to see the quarry and will end up being ruined ... It's called kennel management and I know the bitch will turn out a better dog if someone else had her and used her for what she was bred for which is foxes (NI) where I prefer to hunt edible game ok, was just wondering the reason, i to prefer edible game, as i said in my ea

  8. Well I couldn't keep a dog that didn't work if it was a jacker it would have to be pts If it was a younger dog that was injured and couldn't run pts If it was an older dog injured or retired dog that worked well it would live out it's days here Now I have a pup which is 8 1/2 month and I don't like her , she isn't gonna be the dog I want but she will be kept till I find a home I think is suitable for her .
  9. When I first moved into this house my 2 lurchers were in a smaller pen than that together 8x4x4 high they were happy enough in it till I could afford a better one 12x6 6ft high now need another for the bitch I have as she is in with the dogs for now just gonna put her in a 6x6 run . Main thing is the dogs warm and dry and it will be in your setup
  10. When dog catches rabbit try walking in the opposite direction , hopefully dog will start walking at the side of you , take hold of rabbit and just keep walking till dog drops rabbit then give lots of praise . Done this with an old dog I had and worked brilliant Or if the dogs unsure weather to come in to you try squatting down and encourage the dog to come in
  11. Surely how it bred will also matter are you on about 1/2 collie x whippet/grey or collie/whippet x 1/2 grey? It might make a big difference on size
  12. Wouldn't bother having a separate race Albert , sure all the greyhounds race in the overs any way lol
  13. I'd get a lockable box to carry it in keep it out of site and if you want to be 100% sure get the box bolted through the floor , sounds extreme but that's what I'd do. Or just take your chance just carrying it out of site , all depends how often you think you might get stopped where I am it's very slim chance
  14. Over here it as to be anchored to the vehicle, just think if you get stopped and searched and it's not right they could take your guns off you Remember NI is a lot stricter on gun laws than the rest of the uk
  15. Some nice dogs lads . Topics give me something to think about was going to get a half bred collie grey as my next dog but might try one of this x instead . What are they like mooching and ferreting ??
  16. Barbacide kills everything fleas mites ringworm and you can soak any grooming equipment in it to .
  17. Personally I wouldn't line the pockets of a puppy farmer
  18. Surely if you want a pup out of her you should know what type you want to put over her I'd rather buy a pup in than worry about breeding rearing and homing a litter And if I was to breed I certainly wouldn't care what other people thought as they wouldn't be getting a pup only I would as I'd cull the surplus
  19. Some down in the South Chid21 of that i can guarantee running well with plenty of Minshaw blood running through them mate...stamina was/is their strong suit, looks and one or two other traits ain't lol.ATB Andy. I'd like to try one over here on some of the ground we run some of it can be real testing with the fields being rough and small and plenty of hedges to deal with .
  20. Do you know if anybody in northern Ireland is running minshaws? Seen a supposed minshaw x collie greyhound run in Stanley co.Durham was a speed machine and didn't seem to get out of breath, impressed me it did
