lead is still legal in the north to BOLLACKS!!!!!!!!! Not a mission. It was banned about 3 years ago over wetlands. Same system as Scotland. We can still shoot it over green feilds. aye so its still legal to shoot duck with lead lol just not on the wetlands ....where as in england and wales you cant

i find sticking a finger up the bum shocks them into dropping them..... if you dont want to do that walk away and let the dog carry the rabbit , it will soon get bored then you take rabbit praise dog like mad and hopefully next time it lets go sooner

that is spot on, but the correct age, what is the correct age? i always say 9 months for rabbiting 12/13 month for bigrabbits, but ive started keeping dogs, an ive changed my mind, i find 11 months for rabbits an 15/16 month for bigrabbits, i dont know if you find this skycat, but bitches mature alot, lot quicker, but i can usually tell, and see when a pup is physically, and mentally ready to start, thats my opinion, whats yours? how many bitches have you reared , entered and then theve gone on to have a good working career and then retired with you? and how many dogs you had and done the -

im not having a dig so dont get me wrong but all well bred gundogs can cost 6 or 7 hundered pounds but a well bred lurcher can do the same job and more so when some one puts the effort in to breed a good well fed well looked after litter out of proven parents why shouldnt they cost at least 300 or 400 hundered pounds. it would stop a lot of idiots having them. atb adam gundogs = owned by men with money (paying £30 for every pheasant they shoot) lurchers = owned by men with sence (poaching said pheasants) nothing will stop idiots owning any type of dog sure theres plenty of idiots in the
