    If the fox was close enough to ensure a clean kill with a shotgun, it is plenty close enought to ensure a clean kill with a .22lr and subs! I didn't say it wasn't , I'm just not as confident myself with a rifle as I am with the shotgun . Its maybe due to the fact I don't shoot a rifle regular

    Personally I'd rather use a shotgun than a 22lr , just because I wouldn't be confident enough that I'd get a clean kill .

    Personally I think the boy as some weird thoughts in his head, you can't put pictures up of rabbits during the summer as he says its giving lurcher work a bad name (even though they don't have a season ) yet he puts pictures up like the one he did . Crazy if you ask me

    true cylinder and 1/4 is what my gun as and tbh id rather have 1//4 and 1/2 or 1/2 and 1/2 but seen as i havent i just got used to using it and im not doing to bad with it now lol

    i have both rough and smooth coated dogs , and imo the only advantage the rough dog as is you cant see any marks .. other than that brambles get tangled up in his coat snow sticks to his coat , when he gets wet a quick shake doesnt do much good , and he stinks to high heaven when wet id rather have a smooth dog but one with a good coat of fur rather than a rough dog

    a yapper would have no place in my kennels as i mainly lamp and it would drive me crazy knowing he'd be scaring the rabbits away and not putting 100% into its run but at the end of the day only you can decide if you can cope with the yapping , it dont matter what any of us say as your the one feeding and working the dog

    3 pups ive bought in the past £120 (didnt see parents work) £100 (didnt see parents work) free (seen both parents work on all legal quarry over here) and the one i seen the parents working ended up being pts to me money and distance shouldnt be a problem for the right pup or for the right type your looking for ... i also think a pup over £150 needs to be out of something special and from parents i can see working ,
