I wonder what Simon Wilde is up to at the moment... Is he wandering around THL..? Anyone that hasn't been living in a cupboard for the past few years will know that its illegal to hunt a fox and even if it was legal you'd be liable without permission on the land. Coming onto a hunting forum and asking to borrow a dog is a bit silly no..? Were you hoping to catch someone out?

LG, I know someone who has had her child removed because she is in similar circumstance to the ones you were. Her partner is now in prison but social services won't return her son because she apparently has every intention of taking him back and they are planning on removing the unborn baby once its born too. I only hope she sees sense before that has to happen. LabsnLurchers, I haven't read all of the details surrounding Baby P, I couldn't to be honest with you, I wasn't aware of another girl living in the house but you are right, neighbours etc, anyone could've and should've reported

It makes me sick that in this day and age this sort of thing can be allowed to go unnoticed by the authorities. I haven't read too many details either because I can't but I did read the timeline of events recently and alarm bells should have rung long before he died. That she was arrested twice and freed without charge is dispicable bearing in mind the circumstances.

The pub across the road has had their do tonight, a dj in the car park and f*cking fireworks that make the house shake. Not only has it sent all 3 dogs into orbit but i've got a 7 yr old child that couldn't sleep because of the bloody disco in the car park.

Soooooooo many, I can't just pick three.... Lock Stock, Snatch, Resevoir Dogs, Blade, Gangs of New York, Braveheart, From Dusk til Dawn, Sleepers, Cruel Intentions, Michael Collins, Last of the Mohicans, Circle of Friends, Legends of the Fall, Seven, Casino Royale (but only for naked Daniel Craig) The Dark Knight, Dirty Dancing. I could go on and on....

I use duvets but my mum picks them up for me from a friend who runs a charity shop. My dogs live indoors though. I wish I had the cash to build some kennels but for the time being they are in.

I knew there was some method to their madness HC, that one obviously wasn't thought of as being worth its salt, poor bugger. Quite why they can't go to a vet or use a bolt I don't know.

There is nothing to say that these are hunting dogs!! The spanish import dogs for racing and hunting, usually from Ireland i'm told but I guess from anywhere that has greys that didn't make the grade for whatever reason. I agree with Maltenby and I don't know of a single person that works thier dogs that would condone that sort of death for any animal.

Its a Galgo, spanish dog. Unfortunately all too common over there.

Its seem it was the fuse in the plug. I unplugged it and the fuse had come loose, it now works again. Wahoo! Note to self... When playing on daughter's Wii, use the wrist sleeve so it doesn't fly out of hand when bowling...

I have iTunes on my PC which has just decided that it doesn't like to work anymore... I was hoping to download it to my laptop but I don't want to connect the iPod just incase the library doesn't get imported and everything is deleted. If I sign in with the same log in details does anyone know if my songs will be automatically be added or if not is there a way to keep the current songs on the iPod without losing them and being able to add new ones. I'm proper lost here...

Me too - it was humbling talking to the old boys as it always is - they like to see a Serviceman in uniform so I helped make their day. I lost count of the times I had to explain my medals to the interested youngsters too. A great morning - the weather held off until this afternoon which made it even better. OTC Tiegan was talking to Serviceman this morning about his medals, I didn't hear the conversation as her and my mum were standing away from me as we arrived seperately but I was proud of her for taking the morning seriously rather than messing about as a few kids were.

We went to a lovely service this morning. It was lovely to see so many people there remembering our fallen heroes.
-
I've been working tonight in a bar and not one of the guys I work with is going to a service tomorrow, except for myself and the boss who is in her 60's. I'm one of the older members of staff at 27 but not one of the bar staff or doormen are taking time to remember. I take my daughter every year without fail and she looks forward to it and wears her poppy with pride and it disgusts me that others can't take time out of one sunday to remember those that fought and died for our freedom.

What about a rescue place? You could try the refuge, they are great with regards to rescue places and homes needed. Very fluffy bunny brigade but they are helpful. Google refuge dog rescue and you should find the forum.

Thanks Kay, I got bored and had red flashes put through it too now. I prefer it.

That happened to my ex swamper, it made his eyes water. 36 hours of labour was no real joy, I had a horse rear up and fall on me but the worst has got to be breaking my leg, snapping one bone in half and fracturing the other and then having a doctor try and fail to manipulate it back into place. I screamed the place down and I have a high pain threashold. I still get hassle from the metal plate I have on cold mornings.

Kay, what happened to the red hair, it was a gorgeous colour!! Here's me, new hair colour as I got bored of blonde!

I missed everything that happened when the site was closed down but I was glad that when my dad tried to show me it was gone it had been reopened. I fully understand Ian's decision that led to the closure and only hope he's managed to sort some of the issues and that the site will remain open. Its a shame that a few bad eggs have to ruin whats been and informative and fun site for the rest of us. Thanks Ian for all the work you put in that most of us have no idea about.

You should be able to as the pc seems to have a card reader. Try some of the other usb's you have and see if they work, my camera fits onto the same usb as my old phone did...

Hope the pup is ok. I'm sure i've read somewhere that its a legal requirement that any dog travelling in a car has to be restrained in someway, if not behind a dog guard then by way of a harness etc. I may be wrong but if it is the case then an insurance company may not pay out for such an accident. I'm sure there is someone here that can confirm for me.
