    Took the words right out of my mouth. Its deffiently a hybrid between roach, rudd and bream but its not a pure rudd for shape of the bottom lip

    Ive also thought about this MC and its resulted in me not fishing with in bobbins anymore, it also depends on the weight of the bobbins and the distance your fishing at if its 10yards or 100yards (well thats what ive found anyway). When your out on the bank again try fishing with one rod on the bobbin and the other without and see what results you get. Is that the six series of korda underwater footage about the bobbins as theres a little on there about it.

    Yes there are quite a few different species of cats out there and once introduced and used to the water they can survive for many years, but not all cat fish will grow over the size of half a pound or sometimes even smaller (depending on specie). It could be down to some idiot having bought catfish for the fishtank and it started killing other fish so was then released in the canal. It wasnt Exeter canal by any chance ? AG

    No mate it doesnt have to be a 50/50 mix, when i first ever started making boilies i used the basic kitchen ingreidents then once gained some more expierence then moved up to adding attractants, preservatives and proteins. Also 8hot boilies dont have to be boiled. One thing to remember though mix liquids with liquids and powders with powders to get get a nice even mix.
