    No shooting yet. Sanded the stock and stained it. There is a witness mark on the left side of the barrel off the stock! Not having that!! Cleaned the barrel.

    I recently worked on a friend's sons wee gamo . I didn't do anything power wise but lost some twang/ boing noise and sweetened the trigger by removing the adjusting screw blank and adding a longer screw. Sometimes the slightest thing can transform a springer.

    I came to a conclusion years ago now. I realised most my fox's were shot under 100yds years ago. I really enjoyed my shooting life with centerfires. Did lot's including deer but circumstances changed and I had to take more humble settings that also had more people walking on paths. I started to be concerned about large nuggets flying around. I shoot low volumes now so didn't need to reload. I also didn't want to pass on shooting small game because my rifle was to large. Initially I was unimpressed with the HMR and the then ammo issue so I went with the WMR. To this da

    Tonight's test was a rabbits neck at something like 125y. The bullet passed through the rabbits neck and 3" of sand and gravel. As you can see little to no expansion!

    Well at least I saw one of mine this morning. 04:10am. It saw me at the end of a chicken unit and dashed up the track to the far fields. I followed it's prints for a mile but lost it. I didn't push to hard because a field of grass is coming off soon and a cub was seen in it yesterday! Close but no cigar!

    What is a bullet head? I always thought a bullet is a bullet and a cartridge head is the primer end!

    Issue! I never said there was an issue. It died, like everything else I drill with this rifle.
