  1. Wierd, im sure i posted on this thread yesterday? Anyway, well done lads
  2. I think that qualifies as genuine pest control, well done lads very good shooting.
  3. Ahh ... the webley vulcan, plenty of old memories there! Nicely done mate
  4. Cant speak for anyone else but i think it all depends on the ground. If you are covering alot of land which is being damaged by rabbits and are asked to clear them then you should. In that kind of scenario, especially at this time of year, you should be showing big bags everytime, a few years ago we took 250+ in a night lamping off the pick up. The ground was over run and the guy i was shooting with was contracted to reduce the numbers. That is pest control. Shooting a handful of rabbits off a few acres every now and then is not the same. Personally i dont hunt much in summer but i am out
  5. makes ya sick mate when these season over people say they packed in till next year ok if its permmision but i got none so just get out when i want and money enough for diesel mate cant afford to sit in as dont know how long it be till me pocket got money in as the misses take me to cleaners if she finds me cash and if i wait around till next season evert body at it and nowt to run fck the ban What makes me sick is wasters like you, no respect, no idea and f*****g proud of yourself to boot
  6. Those wheeled shepherd's huts have something about them . Very Thomas Hardy but probably not as romantic for the poor old guys who used em everyday. They certainly knew a bit about construction and economy with materials . And their woodland husbandry was miles of what we practice today . Strange question -but are you the tyla with an inflatable canoe ?. That i am, i thought i recognised your dog in the other pictures! Small world isnt it? I'm convinced that West Sussex is the centre of the universe and that civilized man evolved in Bognor rather than Africa . Its

  8. You have been busy! Dont know if you like the idea or not but if you punch another set of holes below the set you have and run the cord through both sets and fit a locking toggle it allows you to choose from a wide range of carrying options. Its harder to explain than to do, i'll show you on mine when i next see you
  9. You can take dogs to plenty of places if you get them a pet passport, google it and theres a list of countries. It costs about £150 per dog and you have to keep up the rabies jabs or it runs out and you have to start again. I think theres plenty over there to hunt, everything we've got plus some and alot more space and less laws. Sounds like a good idea to me
  10. Its a great place. Im in the process of building a shepherds hut from scratch and went there to take pictures and measurements etc. I love the old buildings, im a chippy by trade but some of the skill in them, especially considering there were no power tools, is astounding!
  11. Hammock?? You puff real bushcrafters do on the floor!!! Nothing wrong with being comfy
  12. I can vouch for this litter, i watched them from about three weeks, saw the parents bushing and picked mine up at 8 weeks. She's turning out well and im very pleased with her. I would put a pic up but the site wont let me?
  13. Hmmm .... thought you'd been a bit quiet! Where was my invite eh? I'll let you off as im laid up having wrecked my back, its as much as i can do to get outside for a fag, nevermind sleeping in a hammock! Where'd you go, same place we went with Cooper?
  14. Is that out of littlehampton? Im sure recognize the speed cameras sign?
  15. If thats all true its the best thing i've read on here in a while. Well done and i hope you keep at it There are pricks and good people in all walks of life. The right gear doesnt make you a better hunter but it does keep you warm and dry and can help you be taken more seriously when trying for permission. Its what you do not what you wear that counts, i just like to be comfy doing it!
  16. Your skilful use of words astounds me! Thats what you call short, sharp and straight to the point! You forgot to mention, among other things, Billy's rendition of "river dance"! Come on Blackstaff, wheres the pictures? Its the last time you'll have to do it this season, on the rats anyway
  17. Very good precise shooting. The air rifle is an excellent tool for that kind of semi urban pest control. Whats with all the close ups, are you guys having some kind of competition again?
  18. Shit ... just started tearing out the bathroom before doing a refit and found that the floor, joists and kitchen ceiling are as rotten as a pear.

  19. Matchbox - they were bolted by a combination of chainsaw smokers and digging. Water Badger has a ratattak smoker but its crap so we dont use it anymore. IMO not worth the money
  20. Looks like good way to spend a day, lucky man
  21. He's no one trick pony, here's his other pose
  22. Sour grapes wont get you anywhere Johnboy When you coming to get this ferret?
  23. Its not the first time he's done the quarry pose thing LOL
