My 11 mth old lurcher bitch has just finished her first season. Her rear has gone back to normal but some of her nipples are enlarged, is this normal? Thanks

Nice one mate, mine caught her first a couple of week ago. Theres nothing to beat it! she has been on fire ever since until last night, she missed everything and seems tohave forgotten everything she has just learnt i hope it was just an off day and we'll have better luck next time. Still, good just to be out though

im out tonight too, just been for a quick shine while walking the dogs - very early but saw a few out and the weather is, finally, good for it. Fingers crossed

Why whats your problem mate? Dont like fieldsportsmen being portrayed as blood thirsty and childish. i find it embarassing as in the eyes of the world we all get lumped together. Think before you post. Mate iam only trying to have a bit of fun. The story above was a cool and reminded me of many rat shoots I have been on. I think you need to lighten up a bit mate. I understand that we all have to represent the sport in an appropriate manner but I think you are taking it a bit far with that comment!! I do not wish to argue but try and understand that I was only having a bit of fun.

He may just have been settling in with you but with rescues you never know the whole story. if you ever want to try yours on the lamp PM me, i am no expert (Tyla is my first lurcher) but we do ok. She hasnt really got into daytime yet although she will take rabbits that appear in front of her she dosent like cover

Ooh, thanks for that. I never seem to make it to SLD although I have promised to make more of an effort this year. I'm hoping I can persuade Phoenix (black grey) to have a go, he's showing more interest than he did but i'm not sure if he'll actually run or not. i bet he will love it, Tyla was not convinced at first but suddenly got into it. Do you work yours to quarry too?

No, not Sussex Longdogs, although i'd be interested to go there when they start up again. These guys do it at Warninglid on the A23, they are just getting it sorted but its well worth a visit. PM Ghostlyease for the next dates, it would be nice to have some other running dogs to run against. Apparently there were a few more last time but i missed it as Tyla was in season

its Parkers only downside, he whines and squeaks to himself all the time not when we're out, just around the house, in his bed, the pen etc. Drives me mad but apparently his mother and sister are the same. Still, there are worse faults i suppose Amy took some more pics today

i know where it is but thats about it im from Haywards Heath area, live with the OH (assasingirl), Tyla, Parker and the four ferrets. its nice to see a few people active on here that are a bit more local. Dont know hardly anyone who's into dogs etc round here so we are pretty much self taught You should bring your dogs over to the lure coursing thats run by Ghostlyease on the A23, its mostly bullbreeds at the moment but they are trying to encourage more running dogs. Sounds bizarre but the dogs love it!
